Not to mention he says that it will prevent him from reforming. The best way to stop energy from reforming (since it can't be destroyed) is to toss it away in all directions.
In this instance, the Conservation of Energy Law sort of makes sense...

Because it also states that energy cannot be created, just converted from one form to another, [which is seemingly what's happening to Galactus, when his energy is transformed into a star].

It also stands to reason that this energy, [because it cannot be destroyed], would literally radiate outward forever...... I mean, what else could it do?

Look at that,

Comics and Physics DO go hand in hand. 😂

meh, any speculation is equally valid, but equally force-fitted. when he was a star though he seemed to lack any consciousness, nor did he seem to assume the role of an abstract or did he seem in any way capable of interacting with people. and a single star is certainly not an equal to eternity.

imo, the whole scene was pretty silly, and reed's comments were equally silly. on top of that none of the scene really did much to indicate what galactus may ultimately be revealed to be. (mark my words -- there will be a retcon of that whole scene at some point. 🙂 )

could he prove to be an equal to eternity someday? sure. but nothing we have seen yet really supports this, imo.

IMO its because when he loses his "true" form he also loses his consiness, els he would have reformed, Galactus got blasted by 5 Cosmic Cubes and was send to deaths realm but instantly began reforming but couldn't when his energy somehow ran amok along with his ship.

Thats for the individual to decided whether ore not they feel there are comics and incidents pointing to him being equal to eternity but its all speculation.

I can't possibly be the only one who's sick of "my cosmic being is better than your cosmic being" Jibber Jabber...

oh yes you can be . . . 😄

ps--actually i've pretty stopped debating anything cosmic for just the reason you mentioned above. 😬

One more:

Professor Hulk had problems with strength

This is the dumbest claim that I've ever seen about Hulk. I know there's minimal love for the Great Green Behemoth, but I really can't stand when one of my favorite characters gets slandered like that. First of all, one thing that was evident was that this incarnation was actually the strongest and the most durable of all of them. Imagine being the strongest being on a planet, but having no control of it for years. Then, all of a sudden, you gain complete control over your powers. That's Professor Hulk. It's Prof. Hulk that was able to heal a huge hole in his chest due to Trauma. It was Prof. Hulk who healed from a flayed skeleton after kicking the crap out of the U-Foes by himself (same fight where he was impaled through all his limbs and stomach). It's Prof. Hulk who simulated five times a normal centrifuge, his hands vibrating at 1/9th the speed of light, and wasn't even mad. He's the incarnation that soloed X-Factor as well.

So, Prof. Hulk is probably the most deadly incarnation. He's not above being pissed, but he's in complete control of his strength.

i agree and disagree, savage probably has the best feats(strength wise but proffesor is the sh*t when it comes to fighting, and now WWH and maestro they just overshadow proff.now
proffesor does not have problems with anger but merged hulk does 👆

"Professor" Hulk DID have problems with anger at the tail end. But that was about it. He also used guns 😎

I still say that's travel speed, not just reaction time. It'd be like maneuvering a car through a forest as opposed to maybe catching ping pong balls in rapid successsion. Both are impressive, but they're different skills. Surfer doesn't have the same H2H speed as Spidey. Speedblitz could still work obviously, but I honestly think Surfer would be worse at doing something like dodging gunfire than Spidey if they were trapped inside an adamantium dome or somesuch.

agreed.. I think there's a reason why Spiderman has put SS on the defensive in h2h fights on nearly half a dozen occasions now, and it ain't cause Spidey's stronger.

Oh the uneducated youth.

Hunter/Prey Doomsday, yeah. He's a different beast entirely. DOS Doomsday, Doomsday Rex, OWAW Doomsday would lose.

Hard to gauge Hunter/Prey Doomsday, and why he was so much weaker in his appearance afterwards. Might have been writer wank.

I don't think so.
Hunter prey doomsday seemed to be consistent with the strength levels of Doomsday Wars DD who came after,
I think that his power level was still relatively the same when him and Supes attacked the Imperiex drones, if there are any "writer wanks" it's gotta be the way in which DD got fried, given everything he had adapted to, it makes relatively little sense (assuming it was just some random lazer beam).
DD-Rex is where he got weakened and he hasn't really been the same since, save MAYBE Gog Wars.

You know he's been banned, right? Not very sporting of you Jin. 😛
