I just read through the DD respect thread. 😱 Hulk is ****ed even against the DOS Doomsday. His evolution ability is too good. And he doesn't just evolve after death, he evolves on the fly too. Supes used a sonic weapon on DD, DD's auditory canals closed up. The Radiant kills DD with a high intensity energy blast, next time around, DD survives the blast and nullifies his energy, effectively killing the Radiant.
Face it, Hulk's screwed from the get go.

Hulk has defeated half of the Elders of the Universe, and beat Thor in the warrior madness.
Now what do you have?
DD beat an avatar of DS, Superman, the JLA, Infinity Inc., Wave Rider, Mr. Mayhem, The Radiant, Gog, Orion, x number of Imperiex drones, x members of the Green Lantern corp, Guardians of the unverse,......and an incalculable number of alien races and planets.
Nothing Hulk has done can top that list.
Most the Elders suck anyway. And I know damn sure WM Thor smacked Hulk to the ground. Anyone Hulk has beat in a fist fight, DD could beat, and more easily. He is stronger than Hulk at start, and he can become stronger faster.
HULK ISN'T FEARED THROUGH THE GALAXY, DOOMSDAY IS. HULK DOES NOT FIGHT COSMIC CLASS CHARACTERS AND WIN, DD DOES AND CAN POTENTIALLY BEAT GUYS LIKE THE SURFER. Now, he might need to rez a few times, but eventually, he could get strong enough to beat the Surfer. Hulk can NEVER approach that level, DD can. HULK CANNOT DEFEAT THE ENTIRE GREEN LANTERN CORP IN ONE FIGHT, but........, Doomsday has fought them, and beat them easily.
And no, Hulk's not beating runner either. 😛
Edit: And just to clarify one thing, most of the incarnations of DD aren't stupid. Some are, but quite a few of them are alot smarter than they let on.

Half of those are either situational or very very vague. He beat a Superman that wasn't that powerful, he didn't beat the whole JLA (he beat mid-carders), and the rest of those really aren't that great of feats. Orion fought like an idiot, Radiant was situational (when Doomsday got pwned beforehand) he never beat Gog himself (he beat clones that a power level was never established for) Imperiex Probes that weren't that powerful in the first place (and then a shot that Superman survived killed Doomsday) he beat GL rookies, and one Guardian who was quite possibly the weakest seen in comics yet.

This Rippoffs were created to mock DC BTW, they aren't as powerful as the "Real" Superman. Marvel copied them to show that their heroes are better, which isn't true 😉. Thor beat those rippoffs more then once but was owned by the original Superman.....
Sentry is another Marvel approach, they saw that neither Gladiator nor Hyperion were taken seriously, so they created Sentry and made him almost as powerful as the "real" Superman. I just saw how he humiliated Terrax the Herald and was told that he stalemated Galactus. Now I have to admit that this rippoff is more "realistic" and he seems to be accepted by the Marvelfanboys, why can't they accept a Superman who beats Heralds as easily, or stalemates Galactus or beats Odin?

I would agree with that, Immortal Hercules is eventually going to be surpassed in strength by the Hulk and Thor has admitted that Herc is a better hand to hand combatant than he is.
Hulk is also more durable, I would expect sooner or later in a slugfest for Herc to go down, after all he hasn't the arsenal of powers of say the Thunder God.
I've just never read it happening.
