a REAL story from a REAL band geek:
this one time at band camp we were walking to practice and a freshman said "dare me to jump down that hill?" and we said "yeah" so she climbs it and she yell from the top "I WILL JUMP OVER THIS HILL" [which was like 10 feet tall] at the bottom her legs have mulch and crap stuck in them and they were sore for days but she still had to march stupid freshman
