It looks like its really going to be an next gen GTA instead of just another GTA. (which isnt a bad thing)
Very much so, seemingly everything has been redone for the new generation, things like hot wiring the cars you steal, the new way the wanted system works. I love how everyone is raving about the animation engine, it sounds great, I cant wait to see some actual gameplay to see it in motion.
And still no mention of the multiplayer, I guess we should get that very soon.

[B]I could care less about MP.
Just curious, did you just do the spelling error that so many americans do? Or do you mean that you care some about the MP?
Also, a big update at gametrailers: http://gtshane.gametrailers.com/gamepad/
Rockstar puts the blame on the PS3 for the delay:

So what everyone figured in the first place was right.
Im interested in how the cops will play out now, they say you only get wanted levels if someone witnesses your crimes, but what happens if you hide on a rooftop and throw a grenade into traffic, or remotely set off a bomb? Do the cops go looking for a suspect or do they inspect the scene and just leave? And do witnesses need to inform police physically or does the wanted level just appear? It'd be awesome if you could commit a crime then kill off a witness and get off free.

I think vehicle damage would be neat but not essential.I rather have great animations because for a GTA, that extra immersion factor is much appreciated and needed.
Yea, GTA always bugged me by having very well acted and animated cutscenes, but really shitty gameplay animation. lol
