You preorder it...so you get it on release...the date don't have to be announced for that deal to be made.

January 24, 2008 - In a mailer sent out in the wee hours of the morning, New York-based publisher Rockstar Games confirmed that its once-delayed, but heavily-anticipated sandbox opus, Grand Theft Auto IV would be headed to store shelves in just a few months.

Officially scheduled for April 29, Grand Theft Auto IV will ship for PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 simultaneously. A release date for the360-exclusive downloadable episodes, however, has yet to be revealed.

Hmmmmmm, so I can get perhaps two weeks of playing before I drown in exams... Good enough.

Well one thing's for sure, this game won't be innovative in any way.

Yeah, of course. Thats why its spawned a dozen ripoff games, because it never innovates. 🙄

This game looks really good. I like how your cellphone is intergrel to the game and hopefully some of the side missions are unique like the one they talked about at Gamespot.

Instead of your typical taxi missions and such, carting your friend after he got totally wasted seemed pretty cool to me.

Cant wait.

I like that you can just do random things with the people in the game to build relationships, I cant wait for GTA Bowling. 😛
