I dont know about specific crimes, but they will keep track of the usual total kills, miles driven, shots fired, crap like that. Plus you can link your account at the R* Social Club to compare stats with other players, and see things like which areas are seeing the most crime and what kinds of weapons people are using.....
GT's review is up: http://www.gametrailers.com/player/33327.html
^ Wow. That was the best GTA, no, the best video game review i've ever seen in my life. And i've seen alot. I give it a 10.
Multiplayer's looking shweeeet!
Gamestop called me with an automated message inviting me to some kinda prerelease GTA4 event in front of and inside the store from 6p.m. to 12 a.m. on Monday at the Copley Mall where I reserved my copy. I might go.
Bose? Nice. I got xbox live the other week just for gta4. Had to buy the bluetooth wireless mic/headset though.
But with that event I'll probaly go @ around at 11-11.30p.m. I'll probably see people i know there so i'll chill until they start selling. I'll get my game, dash home, and delve str8 into it. I'll play online 1st.
what im also concerned with is disappearing elements.
im not even sure if the technology is capable of it, but it irks me how bodies just vanish, or when you see a car you want to jack fades just out of site, it just vanishes from the game in that instant...or if you park your car one block away and come back to get it and its just gone. things of this nature.
Well the previous GTA games didn't have much problem with disappearing bodies. Either an Ambulance came and revived them, or you would later return to find a blood-stain and the silhouette of the body.
As for parking a car and it disappearing, I'm unsure of how that was in previous games, but you can always blame on theft.
Cars disappeared only when you steal a third car, I mean. leave car one, steal car two. drive around the block come back, car one still parked were you left it, drive one block, leave car two, steal car three drive around the block, go back to car one, car one gone, car two still were you left it though 😄....
bodies (and cars) usually disappear so the engine (or framerate) could run smoothly. Dunno what happens now, but who knows, maybe they can keep bodies around much longer...
