No, I'm looking for TVs in vans or something. It's right after I killed the dude that was sleeping with Roman's girlfriend. Except there's 3 vans and I have to find the right one, and I can't even figure out how to pull it over with the cop car. The directions tell me to press L, which I do, but it goes ignored.

You have to get behind the van (or in front) and press in the left analog button to turn on your siren. Once the van stops, get out and walk next to the driver side. He will force the driver out of the van and to open the back.

Aha, now I remember it.

celestial pretty much said what was needed.

thanks, i'll see if I can manage it this time. There's entirely too many controls for this game.

Oh man, i havnt played this game in ages. I got to the 3rd island, then havnt played since. Gets boring fast

It worked. I was holding down L instead of just tapping it once. Stupid me (or stupid lack of accurate descriptions in the game).

Anyway, thanks.

Still a fun time so far. Not great yet, but fun.

Also, is Roman's "special ability" (the taxi service) any good? There's no reason not to steal a car whenever I need one. But meh.

i used it alot when i'd play through without cheats, or needed to get somewhere very quickly...

Oh, so it just kinda ports you there, instead of actually driving? That might actually be cool. Thanks.

A lot of the missions are a bit same-ish, and the controls are too complicated, but there's still so much funny stuff and good elements that it mostly makes up for it. My mom was watching again briefly and said that she had definitely been to that part of NYC. I told her it was a fictional city and she was a bit embarrassed, but said they did a nice job with it, and that it looked real.

GTA 4 on PC in November

Cant wait for some sweet modding actionw00t

I'm using the cheat codes right now and they're fun.

I unlocked a chopper and went on top of a freakishly tall building. I unlocked a car and drove off it and it was crazy but in the end I died.

I love the gun cheats and falling out of the helicopter but always reload when I die...I hate losing so much money from dying.

Yeah, I use the taxi all the time. Especially trying to get from Broker to Alderney really quickly.

For instance, for the Stevie Car thefts, using the taxi is so much faster. If it says to get a car at some sort of landmark, Ill just taxi there and its easy to find. If it says its at the district but doesnt tell you what street and the pic gives you some sort of visual landmark, Ill just taxi to the helitours and then fly to the spot.

Its very useful.

I totally agree with you on the mission structures. Its usually always the same. A. drive there B. either the guy drives away and you chase, or you gun down a bunch of goons and then give chase in a car. Sometimes it changes to boat.

One thing I really hate is that its scripted heavily but it looks like its not. For example, one assassination mission you have to kill a guy in a boat, while I ****ed up with saving it and had to do it again, so I just took about my rocket launcher and tried to blow it up but it wouldnt because I didnt get to close to it. Its really annoying.

Sigh i still haven't beaten this game, too busy

The sad thing is even the most novice of video game players can beat this game quick because it's not hard. It's fun, but not difficult at all. San Andreas was fun, difficult, and long, this game isn't long. Hopefully GTA 5 will get it right by combining features from GTA IV & SA.

Meh, its perfectly fine with its difficulty.

The more difficult the missions are for me, the less fun it is because its annoying when you die in this game.

The more difficult the better the challenge.

Well, yes.

But more annoying, less enjoyable game.

Not for me, it's better when it's more difficult and I have a challenge. If there's no challenge what's the fun in saying you beat something easily?

I don't really care about that.

I play games for the experience, not because of challenge.

If games are suppose to be considered art, they have go away from the idea of challenging the player.

I found Jimmy from the videogame Bully in GTAIV. He's at the Hove Beach train station but you have to wait for him to walk out. I shot the little punk because I thought his game sucked and boy was I happy.

Also, have you heard about the serial killer the news is talking about online on Liberty Tree? I know where he is. He's near the Eroticar shop in an alley and you actually make friends with the psychopath.

I have to check how many random characters I met but the last one was a lady and I had to pick up some clothes for her. Is she the last one or do I meet more?
