I found Shaak Ti to be lacking

I'm willing to bet the majority of the DLC will be adding on the extra content in the Wii version as it's optimized for the 360/PS3.

The Wii version contains a Jedi Temple level where Vader sends the Apprentice to train; presumably it's the same level retextured and fully programmed to take advantage of DMM and Euphoria.

Which is sad, as a game shouldn't have to rely on add-ons to make it good.

Damnit, they need to make Shaak Ti playable on the 360 version.

Another level will be nice, though.

Shaak Ti isnt one of the costumes available with codes?

The Wii version's poor graphics are a real irritation- it is fine that it cannot handle the fancy new tech doodads of the 360 and PS3 engines, but apparently we are still at the point where people are simply lazy on the Wii- IGN perceptively pointed out that TFU on the Wii looks actively worse than what Rogue Leader did on the Gamecube, seven years ago.

So many people aren't even trying!

That said. There is a lot of postive vibe for Krome studious who handled the Wii conversion, apparently, and some rumours that they did what they could in the time given. They have some more SW games on the Wii to come, so let's see what they can prove. I suppose they did get the gameplay kudos for the Wii version, after all.

She's a character you can unlock with a code, yeah, but GK tried it on the 360 and said that it didn't work.

There is a code for all costumes on 360, I tried it after I beat the game, but I didnt pay much attention. 😮

The Wii version has about four times the costumes the 360/PS3 version does. The Wii has more content, it just looks absolutely horrible in comparison.

just 1 question...how are the controls on the wii version?

Which Starkiller looks better? The SCIV version or the one in the Force Unleashed?

The Wii sucks. It's graphics are nowhere near as awesome as the 360 or PS3. Why the Wii is in the console wars is beyond me.

lets see..the fact that it has better controls and price...and the fact that it has outsold the ps3 and 360 (probably both combined) 😬

The Wii was outsold because the price was cheap and gamers had an urge to play videogames and look what they got: sucky graphics. I saved up my money for a PS3 but no one else can.

Nintendo's the goofy side of both Sony and Microsoft.

Innovative controls, a friendly price, and honestly fun games are the basic points why. The fact it's currently "winning" the console wars shows that whatever it's doing, it works.

Just, because it cannot produce graphics at quite the same level as the 360 and PS3, some developers take that as a cue to slack off in the visual department, and the quality of individual games (not the console, mind you, just the games) is lower than it could be.

The quick-time events are far less of a hassle in the Wii version, but while the movement detection is playable, there have been occasions a very sure upward slash registered to the right. There are also far less combos, and I haven't been doing much more than two particular combos and just swinging the saber about. So despite being just buttons, the 360/PS3 combat is much more stylish in comparison.

put it this way. on the 360 & ps3, starkiller (sk), close up especially, looks like a ps2 caliber character graphics-wise.

sc4 (sk) makes "tfu"'s (sk) look more like a ps1 caliber character, graphics-wise.

if that makes any sense..

sc4's (sk) looks flawlessly photorealistic.

The focus of the Soulcalibur series is hyperrealistic characters fighting each other, and with fewer assets at play they can afford higher-resolution textures and models, so the SCIV version of Starkiller is far superior to the TFU version, graphics-wise.

oooh wow, graphixxxxes, cuz that, like, the only reason we should ever play videogames 😆

unlike sony, nintendo chose to make their console all about the GAMES, not the amount of hardware that can be crammed into the damn box..that is why they are winning 😉

nope, wrong..nintendo is the smarter side of sony and microsoft, seeing as the business skills of nintendo left sony and mircrosoft in the dust 😬

but once again, we are straying off topic

opps. the 1st sentence was supose to read: "Put it this way "The Force Unleashed" Starkiller on the 360 & ps3, close up especially, looks like a ps2 caliber character graphics-wise..but, "sc4" starkiller makes "tfu"'s starkiller look more like a ps1 caliber character, graphics-wise..."

FFS, would you realize that not everyone plays games for shiny graphics. They're one of the least important things in a game.

Actually, I wasn't hugely impressed by SCIV's graphics. They weren't really anything special - in particular, I noticed a LOT of clipping issues which annoyed the hell out of me. Considering the environments and how many things are on the screen in TFU, they're pretty damn awesome.

Starkiller's face looked weird in some of the closeups in TFU, though.

Has anyone tried out the PS2 version out ?

i'm guessing its like the wii version.

I have both, and they are identical... though I only played through the first two levels on the Wii... haven't got much time to play, I'm currently playing the Kasshyyk level with Starkiller (PS2 Version)

The wii version has better lighting and reflectin textures than the PS2, other than that they're identical... except for the duel mode on wii

The Temple level I thought was exclusive to the PS2, but I guess I'm wrong... though I think the fights with Darth Desolus and Darth Phobos are exclusives for the PS2 level

does the PS3/360 version have the Empirical as a level?, because the PS2 doesn't...

the wii version could have ended better, it has a lot of potential, the problem is that's clearly a PS2 port (given the short time they had to work with the Wii version) that takes absolutely no advantage of the Wii hardware... except for the Wiimote... it makes playing faster, easier and funner than any other, though there are some moves a bit too difficult to pull off (is much easier pressing buttons for those)

What!! Rogue Leader is one of the best looking games on the GameCube
