Yeah, whats your point? She has force potential and Yoda can see her as another candidate for Jedi training, Obi Wan didnt know, so its no good saying Obi Wan is all correct about there not being any other Jedi if there are others who could be trained. He might be right about saying there werent any other fully trained Jedi around at that given moment, but force potentials can still be trained up, as evident by Luke. Im not saying its realistic to have a bunch of Jedi running around owning the place during OT but theres always the possibility of someone becoming a Jedi in the future.
Well, that's becoming a rather irrelevant point to make by then, isn't it? Yoda's unambiguous line saying Luke is the last Jedi confirms it- there are no Jedi in the OT era, hence Galaxies is in error. And here is the point- Galaxies KNEW it was in error, and did it apparently to appease the fans, whereas in fact it only appeased a small minority of vocal fans, to the detriment of a. the game itself and b. the enjoyment of the majority. And this is the kind of application and approach I am worried about. It is those same vovcal fans who demand killer force powers.
As for the demo possibly being overblown in comparison to the real thing- well, check that line I quoted about making enemies explkode, or whatever. It seems they are going for it.
As for Vader not following the Rule of Two... well, again, GL makes it clear that he does, and that he seeks to continue it via Luke. But that's by the by, the idea is still a mad one especially, as I say, as this Apprentice appears to have more power than Vader and, indeed, the Emperor.
Bottom line is- you don't need hyperpowers to make a game any good, and if you are advertising your game on the basis of comic-book style superpowers then one must worry about the gameplay.
