Note: This is taking place during DMC, BUT the comic is 2007 :]
"The Haunting of Jack Sparrow"
'Somewhere at sea aboard the Black Pearl, Captain Jack Sparrow has awoken from a troubled sleep to make a shocking discovery!'
'knock knock' (Jack is in his bed, hiding under the covers. He's half skeleton again)
Elizabeth: Jack? Jack, it's Elizabeth -- are you awake?
Jack: No! I most certainly am not awake! I'm currently in a very, very deep sleep and must not be disturbed!
Elizabeth: The Pearl's headed for rough weather Jack. You're needed on deck to help batten down the hatches.
Jack: No! It's my spine! I'm having trouble with it, you see? All of my bones actually.
Elizabeth: But your crew needs it's Captain!
Jack: Keep your distance love! My condition might be contagious!
Elizabeth: Fine! Stay in bed!
(Elizabeth slams the door)
(Jack sees the necklace around her neck)
Jack: The necklace...
Elizabeth O.S: I'll just get the ship prepared myself!
Jack: That bauble I gave to Elizabeth is part of the Pelegostos treasure. Just like my dagger. They must be cursed! Clearly I shouldn't have 'borrowed' them during my brief reign as the Pelegotos' chief. Who knew they'd make me all bony -- just like that Aztec gold once did! I'd better get rid of said cursed artifacts and hope that makes me fleshy once more.
(Deck of the BP)
Elizabeth: Haul those sheets in mates. Make fast the top gallants!
(Jack comes up behind her)
Jack to himself: I have to be sneaky about this. If Elizabeth finds out I 'borrowed' that necklace for her, she's likely to be even more angry with me than usual.
(Jack coming closer behind her)
Jack to himself: Just a little bit closer...
(Elizabeth sees him and smacks him, thinking he's a scurvy skeleton)
Elizabeth: Don't you dare!
Jack: LIFF! So much for the sneaky approach.
(The crew sees Jack as a skeleton, but they don't recognize him)
Jack: Don't be hasty mates. If you'll just give me a moment to explain...
Pintel: It's one of Barbossa's cursed skeleton crew. And he's cleverly disguised himself as our Captain!
Crew member: I thought they were all back to normal?
Crew member 2: Barbossa's monkey is still a skeleton. Maybe he's a BIG monkey!
Elizabeth: Get him!
Jack running: Explain, I'm trying to explain!
(Elizabeth uses her sword on Jack and he flies into the air!)
Elizabeth: Explain it to the point of my sword, your scurvy skeleton!
Jack: EYAHHHHH!!!
Jack: Pintel, Ragetti. Have a little sympathy. You were once cursed.
Pintel: Being cursed don't make you sympathetic.
Ragetti: Mostly it just makes you itchy all over.
Jack to himself: Wait a minute! I'm not just some scurvy skeleton.
Pintel: We've got him now!
Jack to himself I'm Captain Jack Sparrow. And it's high time I started acting like it!
Ragetti: He doesn't seem to know we've got him.
Jack to Elizabeth: I want that necklace you're wearing my bonnie lass!
Elizabeth: Try to take it, you scurvy skeleton!
Jack: So I shall. And stop calling me that!
(Jack gets her necklace and proceeds to throw it overboard)
Pintel: He's swinging overboad!
Ragetti: I'd leave too if she called me scurvy all the time.
Jack: Not quite overboard mate.
(Jack throws the necklace and dagger out the window and into the sea)
Jack: But overboard is exactly where these rotten things are going.
*soon...*
(Back in Jack's cabin, Elizabeth enters, Jack is back to normal)
Elizabeth: Jack!
Jack: Right here -- in the *flesh* I am very happy to say.
Elizabeth: A skeletal pirate got on board and stole my necklace.
Jack: That's the problem with fancy jewels -- you're constantly worried about losing them. They're really sort of a curse -- don't you think?

LOL that's one of the first things I noticed when I read the comic. Instead of saying she's just any bonnie lass like he has been saying, he says she's his bonnie lass...God I love Sparrabeth LOL
