Hey, has anyone asked TnT if this is canon or not? Oh wait...I believe what they've said about comics and books is that if it isn't in the movie, it isn't considered canon.The writer may be a Sparrobether, or they may have just needed a positively weak plot point in order to make Jack cursed again. I've hated all these Pirates comics, although this one is not as bad as the one with Gibbs being turned to stone or whatever.

I must admit that I thought it was sort of weird that they'd make Jack a skeleton again...if you notice, there's even a half-skeleton Jack that goes with the Secrets of the Deep line. It seemed almost like they wanted that element from CotBP without investing in making all the characters from CotBP which is too bad because I'd love a Lieutenant Norrington figure!
