I don't think ANYONE was really arguing that Wolverine'd make it through ALL of them. But I believe he could ramp up some pretty high kills before he's gone.

it would be helpful if anyone could post scans or describe an incident in which Wolverine actually fought a bear or similar creature...then it wouldn't be pure speculation on anyone's part.
