I like them both, but the tempo and how well written it was, was definately a bar higher in 52, because 52 was more self contained.. The weekly Countdown though is very impressive with the way it ties all of DC's books into a greater story, something 52 didn't truly have to do on a weekly basis, it only took us from point A to point B.

People were complaining about 52 as well...it only became appreciated after the series end.

52 was in my eyes a lot better.

Not because of the plot, but because of the execution.

If it would have been written properly, seeing as how the premise of Countdown was a lot more interesting, it would have definitly been better than 52.

I think 52 was overrated.

Countdown explore the Multiverse.

Just because it set something up that was good, doesn't mean thats good to.

(Not saying Countdown is good)

But see, in a way it is good. It helps new readers to get to know the DCU.

Getting into DC comics isn't easy. Especially for new readers. This is what Didio wants.
