Either way... the makers of Countdown seriously can't think they're ending Countdown in this horrendously horrible fashion... can they?
Especially the way they changed the writing to an even worse way in the last two issues...
Bring back Monarch, bring back Prime. At least interesting shit happens when they are involved.
I'm sure I'm not the first to notice this, but I hadn't seen it posted:
Ray Palmer of Earth-52 had been "seeding" 1 person in each universe with the antidote (in his blood). The Ray of Earth-1 picked up his work, but left his "signature" ....meaning, each person he "seeded" with the cure he put an Atom symbol on them. We saw a couple of them in Countdown while Kyle/Donna/Jason were searching for Ray (amusingly, Midnighter killed one of them).
Skip forward to that "Evil Shall Inherit the Earth" trailer poster DC's been running for months. KC Superman is on it, and has a clenched fist with an atom symbol on it...

...anyway, go ahead and tell me this is old news. But I wanted to share because I just thought of it.

I also hope that Monarch comes back because, if not, it seems like they did a lot of setting up for him to go down at the very beginning of his little crusade.

Huh. Interesting idea. I always thought that KC Superman was holding the Atom HIMSELF, but the idea of him being one of the inculcated ones is interesting.
Although didn't last week issue just show that even being immune to the virus once wasn't enough to stop it from progressing? Unless if you have the immunity before the virus infects you, or something like that.
