Given what's happening on whatever earth they're on, seems more like an isle of dr. moreau thing.

I figure it will get better at the end.

It's five issues from the end. I doubt it will get much better.

...and it's not the virus that's the problem, just the writing.

Its just.....boring.

the Morticoccus concept is good. Hell, in a story with even decent writing, it would be cool. But..........Countdown's shitty writing drags it down to the point of not giving a damn. ❌

.............The Darkseid vs. Jimmy fight better be sick as hell for all the painful writing we're suffering through. 😒

Doesn't it kind of say it all when the big pay off is a Darkseid/Jimmy Olsen brawl? 😂

I think that in order for this virus ideea to work, you've got to have a very good writer that can make it interesting/entertaining and apparently, that's not the case here. The execution is very weak. Even the writers seem to give me the 'How many issues to go ? God, I can't wait to get it over with' vibe.

He's a comic book character. When the world is about to end every summer, a little winter snow probably sounds pretty good.

They don't actually fight, all Darkseid does in that issue is kill Kalibak. Just found the name interesting

Maybe you can explain to me why the hell Kalibak is huge these days but in older days he was smaller.
