*She blushes, a faint hint of red showing in her face "I am sorry for being Jealous.... of her" She licks him lightly, in an apologetic way*

Carbo laughed at Champion, smining gently.. "That's alright.. Keep in mind that she is just a pup.. Besides, you have nothing to worry about.. I will not exchange my mate ever, if that is what is what is worrying you" Carbo said, stroking his head forth and back against hers..

"Such a boring pack" Chance sighed, looking at the pack from the bush in which she had ran into. She did not want to leave it right now. From here, she could see the pack clearly. The males bringing in some food for the rest. Chance was not hungry, though. She ate just before she left at the morning. Chance watched Alice, who seemed quite interested in the return of the males. Chance sighed, realising that Alice did not want to play at this point. Hunger did wierd things to wolves. Alice was not the cheerfull one she was some time ago. Not right now, at least.

Chance climbed up on the rock behind the bush and gave out a struggling mumble as she finaly reached the top. She laid there, watching Alice once more. She seemed like she had a lot on her mind and Chance did not want to disturb her right now. Since she was not hungry, the pack managed better without her at the moment.
Chance jumped down from the rock, starting to walk in the opposite direction of the pack.

After a short amount of wandering, leaping from rock to rock and over branches, Chance stumbled over something fluffy. Tipping on her back, she watched Kiri upside down. He tail started wagging and Chance flipped around like a machine, crounching with the front part of her body. Her butt went straight up, so did the tail of hers and she leaped on top of the sleeping wolf. She made a gentle bite on the ear of Kiri, before crawling up on her back. She was laying flat on top of her now, putting her head next to the ear of Kiri "It is not sleeptime yet. The shiny big ball is high up on the blue roof" She said, watching the sun up in the sky with a smile.

Kiri, startled, shot up. Her ears twitched and she looked up at Chance on top of her. Her tail wagged softly and she squinted up at the bright sun in the sky. Morning had come more quickly than she expected. She yawned then and stretched before gently shaking her head and standing, Chance sliding off of her back. She looked towardt he river then, but the Solid pack den wasn't in view. She was much happier now that Chance had shown up. She had a play mate, and wouldn't be left alone any longer.

"Are you part of a different pack than Carbo and Maric? "

She asked, tilting her head slightly. She smelled other wolves on her, but the land was so close, she doubted they could be separate packs. She lifted her ehad again. That wolf from earlier was nearby..Siim! She wagged her tail again and trotted toward the river, looking for him quickly.

"Who?" Chance asked, a bit confused of her question. She knew she had heard the names before, but she could not remember from where those name came from. She watched how Kiri started walking towards the river. It would have been a sad moment if she was going to leave Chance again. Chance ran after her, leaping towards her and taking a grip of her tail with her mouth. She hung in it as Kiri was walking forward. "Do not go. My pack is so boring" She sighed, placing her paws on the ground. She started struggling, pulling in the tail in an attempt to make Kiri go backwards, back to where Chance was standing.

" Oh, theyre in the Solid pack "

She responded, nodding along with her words. She felt her paws meet a bti of traction, and turned to see Chance pulling on her Tail. She smiled and laughed softly. She scanned the river and it's surrounding area once more and failed to see Siim. She sighed, hoping he would show up. She hadn't really gotten to talk to him yet.

" I won't go anywhere. "

Kiri answered with a smile.

" Maric is kind of scary, and Carbo and his mate dont really want me around right now. I didn't get to talk to Siim much, but I think he's around somewhre... I hope so, I didn't really get to see what he's like."

She paused and smiled.

" Anyway, lets go hunting. I bet we can find some food! "

"Oh, I am good at that. At hunting" Chance said, letting go of the tail. She ran a few times around Kiri, bouncing. "I nearly catched a mouse the previous week." She said, having a proud tone in her voice. She held her nose up high, showing how very proud she was of her nearly success in catching a mouse. She leaned her head, looking at her. "I am not very hungry, though. There is often food available around here. Maybe not enough to make us take food bath, but we manage" She said with a smile, lowering the front part of her body and having her tail up straight. She wagged her behind a little bit, before assaulting the leg of Kiri in a playfull way.

"I bet you are! "

Responded Kiri with a smile. She remembered the mouse she had caught a few days pior, and she felt slightly guilty for eating it all herself. Maybe she should have shared with the others, like Siim, whom she hoped had eaten the food she left for him. A thought struck her then. There really was more food on this side...maybe later she would catch some for Maric and Siim and the others for offering her shelter. Her plumed tail wagged softly.

" At my old home I used to chase the cows and the sheep, but there are none here..."

She quietly wondered what there was to chase. She decided that maybe they should go find something.

"Chase the what?" She asked, not sure what Kiri was talking about this time. Kiri seemed so much more mature than Chance in so many ways, as well as more cunning about everything. She decided to play along, pretending to be wise and cunning too "Oh, yes. Chase the cows and sheeps. No, none around here. They have moved out over the winter, I think" She lied, looking around herself. She had no idea what she was talking about, but hopefully she could pretend that she had.

Kiri smiled, knowingly. When she was only a few months old, she had used alomst the exact same words, speaking to her mentor, a German Shepherd that lived nextdoor to them. She remembered it well.

" Kiri! did you see where those sheep got off too? Are they on your property ? "
Kiri cocked her head cluelessy, and then smiled and nodded.
" Yes! The sheep! of coouuurse! Theyre right over there Rex! "
" Where? "
" Uh..they were just there.."
rex had sighed, and then for the next few months he taught her all about chasing the sheep and cows.

"Well, then, I hope we see them next summer! They sure are hard to miss, all black and white, and big! And those sheep who look like little fluffy sky cotton with legs.."

She intentionally filled chance in on what the animals where as she went on.

"Oh, yes. I love hunting those fluffy cows" Chance nodded eagerly, finding the 'lesson' rather interesting. She felt like a real adult, pretending to know what things was. Adults seemed to know everything and she wanted to know everything too. "Tell me more!" She said, but paused a while. "I mean, you seem to like talking about them. I do not need to hear more, but in case you want to talk about it" She said quietly.

With a laugh Kiri smiled.

" There isn't much more to talk abotu with cows and sheep. They just run when you chase them, they go wherever you want 1But you have to yell at them sometimes too, and sometimes they kick, their hooves are sharp too. "

With that she turned her head, and trotted up to the bank of the river, she leaned over to take a drink and then looked up, and back towards Chance. HEr ears flattened shyly.

" That is where the Solid pack lives. "

She nodded on to the barely visible den.

Chance bounced up next to Kiri, standing still. She raised her nose up in the air, smelling it carefully. "Mother said that the Solid Pack is bad wolves" She said, drinking from the same spot in the river as Kiri did. If she was going to look like an adult, she better drink where they drank too. She leant forward in an attempt to drink under Kiri, but pulled back as she realised the silly river could pull her back in.

Len sat there under a dark pine tree, licking his paws for cleaning. He paid no mind to anyone around. He shivered slightly as he licked over a cut on his paw before placing them on the ground with his hind paws and stretched with a growl/yawn, 'I'm sooo hungry...' he thought to himself as he shook his fur clean of the pine needles and dirt before deciding to go find someone to talk to, 'I haven't seen anyone in a few days, I wonder how or where they are...' he continued in thought as he wakled towards his territory.

kiri's ears rose and fell. she cocked her head as she felt chance under her. she then stepped back.

" the solid pack doesn't seem bad...they where very kind to me. "

she smiled and them looked off, wafting the delicate breeze. Her sensitive nose arched into the wind, she closed her eyes. Her tail wagged softly. Another one of the solid pack had returned.

" chance, Ill see you later. I have to go now! "

she gave chance a playful nip on the shoulder and leaped rock to rock across the river toward the den she made it back in time to see Len coming in. she smiled and closed her eyes docily.

" Hello! "

She greeted, with a wagging tail.

Siim had followed Kiri once again to make sure she went back to the den. When he got close enough to see the den he lied down by a tree to rest. "....*sigh*...." he had forgot about the meat that Kiri left him. he let it lie there. "....*yawn*...." he watched Kiri and Len talking.

Chance watched Kiri walking out over the dangerous and murderous river, disappearing. She sat down, giving out another long sigh. "Alone again" She said quietly, turning her head in the direction that her pack was in.

She was incapable of following Kiri over the river anyway, as Chance started slowly walking back towards the Blood Pack den. All she would meet there was a pack of boring wolves, eating, sleeping and hunting. Alice was a fun wolf, though. However, she was not the same old funny wolf she was before the pack ran low on food. Chance did however not understand why some of the wolves were hungry. Chance was satisfied after each meal and could not get it into her little head why the older ones were not.

Again, she returned to the camp and watched the packmembers doing several different duties. None of the duties was having a good time, as Chance gave out a sigh. Not to let the old wolves bring her down, she happily bounce into the camp and charged straight towards Alice in an attempt to tackle her.

*Champ smiles softly "Forgive me for worrying" She smiles, nuzzling his chest lightly*

Len blinked, "Um... Hi, Kiri..." He said softly, looking past her, "Is that a member of the blood pack?" He asked, his fur slowly standing stiff. "You shouldn't be talking to a pack such as them, Kiri...." He then looked around again, "Jeez..... I'm too hungry to talk right now, I'm off to find a rabbit.." He said before attempting to walk away.

"You were forgiven before you apologized" Carbo said to Champion, grinning. He had no idea what to do. Maybe he should go out hunting some more, or he could stay with the pack. It felt like he spent more time away from the pack, than with it. He thought for a while, before turning his head back to Champion "Why me?" He asked her, a smile on his face.

*Champion moves closer to him, until she is right next to him as he says she is forgiven. She smiles as he does, watching him, smiling as he turns his head to her, blinking at the question "Like me, Your different, Your kind... Caring, and so much more. I should be the one asking why me... "
