Much has changed since the nineteen fifties, divorce is up, many people come from one parent families in civilised countries like England and less civilised countries like Scotland and Wales. Even Primitive societies like the US, Canada and Ireland have this problem. I blame the changing role of women in society and the medias attempts to portray then as capable of doing a mans job.

I believe if women when married followed these 10 simple rules it would halt this malaise and reduce the sale of mail order brides, a major export in many enlightened countries. I also think it would reduce homosexuality as men would see women as benign and no longer untrustworthy and adultorous.

My Manifesto and ten points women need to follow to keep their man.

Have dinner ready: Plan ahead, even the night before, to have a delicious meal - on time. This is a way of letting him know that you have been thinking about him, and are concerned about his needs. Most men are hungry when they come home and the prospects of a good meal are part of the warm welcome needed.

Prepare yourself: Take 15 minutes to rest so you will be refreshed when he arrives. Touch up your makeup, put a ribbon in your hair and be fresh looking. He has just been with alot of work- weary people. Be a little gay and a little more interesting. His boring day may need a lift.

Clear away the clutter. Make one last trip through the main part of the house just before your husband arrives, gathering up school books, toys, paper, etc. Then run a dust cloth over the tables. Your husband will feel he has reached a haven of rest and order, and it will give you a lift, too.

Prepare the children: Take a few minutes to wash the children's hands and faces if they are small, comb their hair, and if necessary, change their clothes. They are little treasures and he would like to see them playing the part.

Minimize the noise: At the time of his arrival, eliminate all noise of washer, dryer, dishwasher or vacuum. Try to encourage the children to be quiet. Be happy to see him. Greet him with a warm smile and be glad to see him.

Some Dont's: Don't greet him with problems or complaints. Don't complain if he's late for dinner. Count this as minor compared with what he might have gone through that day.

Make him comfortable: Have him lean back in a comfortable chair or suggest he lie down in the bedroom. Have a cool or warm drink ready for him. Arrange his pillow and offer to take off his shoes. Speak in a low, soft, soothing and pleasant voice. Allow him to relax and unwind.

Listen to him: You may have a dozen things to tell him, but the moment of his arrival is not the time. Let him talk first.

Make the evening his: Never complain if he does not take you out to dinner or to other places of entertainment; instead, try to understand his world of strain and pressure, his need to be home and relax.

The goal: Try to make your home a place of peace and order where your husband can relax.

Thoughts?

A: The woman

Hahahahaha!!!

My friend paints lovely vagina's. 🙂

We women belong home cooking cleaning, taking care of children, making out man happy. not out stealing their jobs, balancing career and child raising. our fist goal should be being their for the children, then devoting ourselves to our man. It's that simple. Well said Libertine for daring to raise this controversial issue in the present climate of political correctness. Some of the members here are very dim indeed.

i wouldn't say its a woman's DUTY to make a man happy, cindy. love is about two people sharing their lives and so its up to both man and woman to love each other and make each other happy. its not simply one person's job. like all relationships it takes two people.

though libertine didn't put it in the best words possible, there is one thing that there is an obvious connection between social problems and less housewives. if anyone's honest enough they will admit that women working means less time to raise children and hence twisted adults are produced. US is prime example. you have parents coming home way late in the evening, putting off children in childcare or having nannies and then the society is surprised that there are high rates of teenage voilence, highschool shootouts, teenage pregnancies and later on more number of people who practically live off their therapists, crimes, divorce rates etc. etc.
being a mother isn't about just having children. its about raising them. same way being a father isn't just banging your wife. its about providing and helping raise the child. nannies isn't the answer....to me having a woman PAID to raise my child is lame and retarded. the child needs the mother more than it needs the father. read any child psychology book or talk to any child psychatrist and he or she'll will tell you the same thing. motherhood is a natural part of being a woman. women should understand that their job doesn't end with just having the child...it only begins there. once the child is born its a really tough road ahead with her having to give the child undivided love and attention. No, its not impossible to work and be a good mother but it certainly as hell is HARD.

of course its not as simple as that. prices are going up, every thing is practically becoming more and more expensive, soceity constantly expects more from us...which means women are also required to work to make ends meet. not to mention how unfair it is that women have to spend all that money on studies only to become housewives.

the way i see it: if a girl can work AND be a good mother then she can be the CEO of a company for all i care. however, if the child is being left out and is being ignored then something's gotta give. running away from a responsibilty isn't the answer.

in the long run, society literally depends on the mother. its really about priorities. putting career above childcare is stupid and results in...what we are seeing today.

i like the way you think, cindy. i don't know why some women really think its demeaning to be a housewife [of course a househusband today is the epitome of a "open minded man"🙄] women working really haven't proved to be some blessing but it sure as hell has brought along a lot of problems. divorces, children problems, voilence, crimes are all linked back to bad homes and lack of attention from the parents.

i don't think a woman is lower to a man but they have their set of duties that both are naturally equiped for. like i said if a girl can be a good mother and work without comprimising either is perfect but its gonna be hard as hell.

Q: Why do women have smaller feet than men?

A: So they can stand closer to the sink.

A: None. It should be open when she brings it to you.

That's just crazy. Everyone knows women can't open bottles without a mans help. Even beer bottles.

Q: Why do women fart less than men?

A: They don't shutup long enough to build up pressure.

I thought so to, but it is possible that that is all the person who comes up with these jokes can get. And then probably only with a cash transaction of some kind.

Not claim that oral sex is preferable to intercourse when you do not have a basis for comparison. 😎
