Storm vs Polaris

And I'm not suggesting that Magneto or Polaris are anywhere near as powerful as Legion. I'm saying that DESPITE all Storm's highly vaunted power, she was treated like nothing from a superior mutant. In other words, stop hyping her up to be the uber god you want her to be, because she's been put in her place before.

Be's like that sometimes.

Still doesn't change her being equivalent to Phoenix.

As has Polaris, as has Jean Grey. By Storm

Except for, you know, on panel proof showing her to be equivalent to Phoenix.

But I don't see anyone arguing to bring them up to uber god status.

Yep. To green suit Phoenix, who was defeated easily by Magneto in one panel and who could not hurt Magneto at all, even when going all out and Magneto having only a hastily erected forcefield on. Claremont never referred to any other version, because no other version existed during the time he made the statement, which he made in 1979. I've explained these things before, why do you forget them?

I am not going to repost all I have posted against the above statement.

Anyways as it stands the PF is much greater than Storm.

Exactly, don't bring shit up from way back in the day, especially after so much has changed.

Polaris kicks storms crappy ass via iron/blood trick. 😎

Green Suit Phoenix is from 1976-1977

Claremont said they were EQUAL in 1979 RIGHT before DP. Obviously we he had that incarnation of Phoenix in mind, and we have Storm at DP levels DIRECTLY after(in '81) in Roguestorm, and we also have her doing things WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY beyond anything Magneto can EVEN DREAM OF, withstanding being hooked to a machine in 1983 harnessing the power of MILLIONS of Stars from each she draws spiritual and Material Sustenance just as DP. Thuis is DIRECTLY AFTER his interview in 1981 published in 1982where he never explicitly states that Phoenix/Jean is past Storm level.

In X-treme 5 we have Storm saying how she will ascend. This is written by Claremont as well.

You lie again. 1979 isn't RIGHT before DP saga, it was three months before it when Claremont made it. That picture you showed? Happened ten months after Claremont made the statement. Claremont referred to the Green suited Phoenix, because Dark Phoenix had not even been created yet.

He doesn't have the ability to see into the future to my infortmation, and I doubt that he was referring into things that had not even happened yet. You have no proof that he was thinking about Dark Phoenix during that interview, because all proof points into that he did not. Because he was speaking about "Phoenix", not "Dark Phoenix". That's all the proof there is, no matter how you try to twist it.

And she was not near Dark Phoenix levels as Roguestorm. She could barely stop the storm she had created.

Harnessing the powers of millions of stars doesn't make her even near Phoenix level. Like said before, Phoenix is a universal entity. Storm has never even been near galactic level, much less universal.

Millions of stars? Speck of DUST to someone who can manipulate the UNIVERSE with a gesture.

I've already admitted that Storm has higher raw power level then Magneto, haven't I? That doesn't mean that Magneto can't still beat her. It's not the level of power you use, it's the way that you use it, and Magneto is far more experienced and skilled with his power then Storm is with hers, and has already beaten her multiple times, with ease.

By the way, who wrote those defeats of Storm by Magneto? Claremont. Who wrote that defeat of Phoenix by Magneto? Claremont again. So even the guy you hail as some sort of god of comics stil thinks that Magneto >>>> both of them. 💃

But, Magneto aside...you simply don't have any proof that Storm is in the level of Phoenix Force. Because she isn't. Claremont was not referring to anything else then the Phoenix that existed during that time. Storm has never done anything that even approaches the level of Phoenix Force. The statement is outdated and Phoenix's power levels have been increased multiple times after any interview you quote, so they have no base.

In nutshell? Your ridicolous claims don't have any sort of base in canon, and thus, as you have no tangible proof, your claims don't matter in this board.

How come all of the (so called) Continuity buffs don't holla at this guy and people like him. 2 Damn can compare Storm to Phoenix all they want as long as People keep making crazy ass statments like this.

Polaris gets Waxed (period) everything else is debatable but that is deffinatly not (saying otherwise is pure spite with less basis than the Storm / Phoenix argument).

Jumping on one post and making the assumption that everyone else is making the same claim is basicly the definition of a strawman argument.

😬

I'm tired so it might just be me but I can't tell what you wrote there.

However I still belive Polaris can manipulate storms blood flow and she still wins.
