And I HATE the "plot twist"
Spoiler:
that your just remembering someones life events. I couldn't get around how stupid that was for some reason, just all the weird "Matrix ripoff"
crap around really looks out of place and is very distracting.

Weird, I really liked it, it was pretty obvious though, if you just looked at some of the trailers and gameplay movies. So not so much a surprise for those of us who kept their eyes on the game, but still a pretty interesting plot.

From what little I played, I really didnt like the twist. I mean it would be cool for

Spoiler:
the next game to take place in present time, but it just took away from what was supposed to be a very original setting(for games).

Im gonna try to play tonight, ive only played the first few minutes so far.

The plot twist is the worst kept secret in the industry for awhile.

Everybody knew about the plot twist and he didnt spoil anything because I soon as you read the manual, or turn on the game, its obvious something's not quite right.

You actually read the manual? I sometime flick through it to get background info etc, but never fully reading it.

I read it to understand controls if they dont explain them in the game.

I didnt read Assassins Creed but I read Mass Effect just to understand some of the gameplay points. Especially, to understand the HUD.

I always read the manuals. It's an OCD kind of thing.

And yeah......as soon as I opened up the little special booklet that only BEST BUY had packed with the game, I immediately closed it b/c it was giving stuff away I'd rather find out through the game itself.

I had been shielding myself from the Twist the entire time before the game came out.

OCD?

OCD?

I'm guessing it's Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder. A similar expression would be anal-retentive, overly obsessed with minor, usually unnecessary details...

On a related note, the constant "anata wa-blah-blah-blah" could be a symptom of OCD.

Hurray for reading too fast, first read it as "Obsessive-Computer Disorder"...

So, it's a disease, he is excused then.

Yea it isn't a plot twist (which is why I put it in quotes) it tells you right at the beginning of the game. As soon as you start the game you know whats going on.

Well whatever YOU want to call it, it was an intentionally kept secret.

Obsessive Compulsive Disorder. That's exactly what it is......all that it is.

Well, not really.

Anybody who paid attention to the game knew thats how the game was about.

But its not an spoiler.

Yeah, pretty annoyed that I let my first attempt go past me, I had one session alone in the science lab, where there was nothing to do if you hadn't already pickpocketed him, so I kinda "lost" one whole science lab session.

Finally managed to get the "Eagle's Challenge Achievement", you have to fight 25 soldiers in one fight and win. Winning the fight isn't hard, but getting 25 soldiers to fight you is very hard, because 25 at one place is hard to find, and there are always some runners. However I managed to goad a lot of soldiers to the camp at Acre, and I think I was near a spawning point of some such because it kept on coming more and more soldiers, I gave up the count of kills after 50. Altair somehow reminded me of River in Firefly/Serenity when I was cutting down soldier after soldier.

You know, I was thinking the exact same thing during a fight last night. Everything was flowing together so perfectly; it was a pretty intense dance of death. Yet to reach 25, though.

i did it in jerusalem, i just stood near the middle class city (it was blocked off so i was in the middle of completing the game) and guards just kept coming out 1 or 2 at a time

I also thought about it.. if they made a movie who would play Altair?

kinda soon but im bored..

or even hayden christensen for some reason

Yeah the fight got pretty intense, and AC got a chance to truly show off its movements in that fight.

As for AC movie, I never acre about thinking up actors for different roles, just feels so pointless.
