however, if you're saying RoE darkseid = mainstream darkseid, then you'll likely have a hard time proving it. as i'm sure you remember, that version of darkseid (along with the universe he tampered with) were ultimately destroyed:

I'm talking about the true forms of the new gods. And how the universe resets depending on who wins. The Genesis box, dude. The very thing Grant Morrison showed us in Seven Soldiers about the new gods.
