They ran at each other and Thanos easily dominated him unlike Nova and Surfer who were minor irritants.

Captain Mar-vell fought Surfer and Nova completely different than what he did against Thanos. He actually used his powers and shielding against them. He did none of that against Thanos...he fought in a fashion that we are incapable of knowing how powerful he is. Kind of like Quasar...he is a perfect blaster but physically, he ain't sh**.

Thanos overpowered him. Thanos' strength is far greater than Nova and Surfer's powers. I agree. Totally.
The cc is crazy powerful yet didn't even cause a drop of blood to spill. Impressive for Lord Thanos. Far more impressive than Darkseid is capable of.
