Red, Trick knew about the stipulations. No-one's being penalized, but the night before, he claimed to have better things to do, and he essentially decided the time limit for the match. 😬
If his mother was dying, or some such, then let people know afterwards, and they can nuke the match.
If your excuse is "I had better things to do", whose fault is it that you lost your match? Especially when you essentially decided when the match would end?

not to insult anyone, but anything outside of the box save for doctors, dentsits anything errand related, is better than typing up a response to it. He still didn't lose, it's not really a forfeit, if Goober says he'll prolong trick's post, and trick doesn't do it, well i think we'll all know trickster was making shit up, and I made an ass out of myself for defending him, but still, all I say, is that goober should give Trick a minor extension, to post his pointless post, for it is a shallow victory. 😐

Conclusion: Extend the match because Trick has better things to do?
If he was going to be busy, he could have asked for a rescheduling, an extension of time before the match ended as a notification, a reason worth typing... etc.

You're violating your own rules. And it seems to me, that if you don't back off or compromise, you should be DQed. If there's only one DS, then what right have you to bar GDS, etc?

I meant for the judges to vote on a DQ, the rules are staying as is. If there's one thing I WILL NOT tolerate in the Battle Zone, it's people like you trying to get the rules changed to help them out of a bind. The match continues, or the judges vote now on who's in violation of the rules and is thus DQ'd.
I'm not supposed to be posting here but there are way to many things that went wrong with the debate.
Trick was at fault for not keeping up with the time limit. But, as you said Darth, it wasn't a tourny. Things could have been extended. Obviously Trick was either unaware or misunderstood the stipulations with crossovers. Again, that's on him but the match could have been restarted or amended.
Darth, you didn't need to be so rigid, there was room for flexibility. Nothing was accomplished in the debate. I read through it twice and was not swayed either way. I know you won in the votes and poll but it's a tarnished victory. Trick made a good case and I think he was unfairly limited by one sided rules concerning showings and feats, not to mention getting cut short.
Trick should have kept better track of the time and read the rules more closely. It's clear to me that he didn't. Again, that's on Trick but things could have been handled much better. I feel that not only Trick but the rest of us were denied a good debate which could have shed light on two powerful characters. I think Red is correct in his opinion.
Darth, I'm not saying you couldn't win, or tried to handicap Trick. I'm not throwing digs at you. I consider you one of my bros on KMC but personally I would like to see the match again.......Of course after Trick's week is up with the sig. 😛
