Nah, I don't play versus that much. I dont usually play with all my friends at the same time. Sometimes somebody else gets invited from another guys friends list.

I have no idea how I get achievements on that game, I'm just playing a match and then they just pop up.

Nope just did the skip horde sequence on NM. supposedly the update made the smoker's smoke thicker and something else useless.

Some of these updates sound like they will make the game a bit frustrating. You will no longer be able to simply melee a teammate from a smokers tongue. You will now have to shoot the tongue or the smoker. That seems like a bad decision to me. The smoker is already cause for concern and can send an entire party from green health to orange. It is already a pain in the ass to deal with smokers and hunters when your fellow teammates are inexperienced and insist on shooting the downed person rather than using melee to free the person. Sometimes, you can't even get a lock on the smoker because he is out of sight or his tongue glitched through a wall.
Either way, im curious to see how the new updates affect the game and i'm glad the updates and new missions are fast approaching. It's also great to hear that Valve convinced Microsoft to disperse the new missions for free.

Oh thank god for the free maps, as for the melee, I'm sort of on the fence for that, campaign it's good, on VS mode it's quite annoying since handling a smoker can be pretty tough at times.
Valve was suppose to announce the new content along with the update patches. So far they have only announced the patches but said that they will be announcing the new campaign and weapons content very soon. PC already has the new patches and im sure that they will be blessed with the new content before the 360 regardless of Valves hopes of releasing them simaltaneously. It looks like we will have to wait another month or two before the new campaigns but rumors suggest 10-20 new maps. I find it very hard to believe that the 360 will see up to 20 new maps but it seems plausible that the PC could see that amount of new maps. Especially when you consider how easy it is for some people to make user created maps. Personally, i think the 360 will see a couple maps drop at once and then maybe one or two additional maps at the end of each month where as the PC will get them all at once as a bundle but that is nothing more than a crude guess. Either way, we wont have to wait much longer and at least the patches will make Versus playable until the DLC.
