That factor combine with Obiwan lightsaber form (Soresu) the most defensive form,so it prolongs the duels because it is more of forcing your opponent make a critical error which gains you the win. Which Kenobi did to anakin Plus it would be hard for the duel to be over shortly considering the lava fields,and buildings falling prolonged it too. It is very easy to see why to why the duel was a long as it was. Combing it with the things I mentioned and almost a decade of training together.
