Putting it all together...spoilers

Think about it from this perspective: Why would Tia, who is rumored to be Calypso, join league with Beckett, when he's trying to essentially imprison her further for use to create his evil empire?

I just don't know, so anyone can say anything. I don't necessarily think Tia and Beckett have teamed up. Tia seems to be on the side of the pirates and I don't think she would bring Jack back from the dead just so Beckett could kill him again.

She only brought him back so she could get his Piece of eight i thought.

Then why not go into the Locker and take it off his corpse? I'm sure she could do that since she's a goddess.

What about Pintel and Ragetti? and when did Will try to kill him? if anything Will saved him at the end of COTBP!

Maybe but maybe he is just trying to get on her good side! Having Calypso on ur side when u wanna dominate the ocean is a good move!

maybe. i can't see pintel in the picture, but that's probably just me being stupid. but there is way more to Tia then she's letting on. and i think that goes past the point of her being Calypso.

Will: Tried to kill him when he broke into his shop. "I practice 3 hours a day so when I meet a pirate, I can kill him." Second time: he and Norrie kind of gang up on him and pause to decide who will actually kill him. Will saves Jack a lot, but he threatens him a lot, too.

But you could be right and he could be leaving Will out of it.

Tia is too clever to fall for that, I think. If she is working for Beckett, it's of her own accord, unless Beckett is WAY smarter than we think he is.

lol...like i said its just a theory but it would clear up some details!

i like the idea of beckett and tia having a sort of connection. and not a romantic connection. although tia does seem to get around. ahem. anyways. Tia's character is so mysterious and suspicious, and unknown, i wouldn't be suprised if she was up to something.

On the Beckett thing:
because Beckett knows Jack is a lady's man. Because you always think your enemies are more powerful/attractive/potent than they actually are. So Beckett would assume that no pretty girl would stick her neck out for Jack Sparrow unless she was in love with him/ had a history with him. He tries out his theory with the "perhaps you remember a certain pirate named Jack Sparrow"... he's looking at Lizzie when he says this, and seems pleased/unsurprised by her quick reaction.

i think it was just a theory on his part, reinforced by his larger-than-life rememberence of Jack and the pirate-actions of Elizabeth. Plus, maybe he assumes they're all working for Jack or something.

On the Tia thing:
because she may have tried to kill him BEFORE they had a relationship for some reason? or a bad break-up that they eventually fixed? the line I remember her using in the leaked script was "you enjoyed it while it lasted." or like i mentioned before, maybe Jack views the jar of dirt as a really bad move on her part.
i reckon you could make up an intriguing fan-fic about it, Willo. 🙂
