Putting it all together...spoilers

Ooh! That is going to be an amazing scene. Johnny and Tom are going to have so much fun doing that. They're both going to nail that. Excuse me in advance if I'm not in a thinking mood now. I just watched The Prestige and I feel like my head's going to explode.

I'm going to love this side of Jack. Some how it gives me pleassure on seeing Jack paying back to all those people who tried to kill him. But it also makes me sad because Jack really had it. And I really want to see Teague helping him on his decision..

I think he's once again playing people. He did the same thing with Barbossa. "I'll sell out the kid if you do something for me." It's the same thing here, I think. Remember he's 10 steps ahead of most everyone else.

That's what I love about him. He is always like 10 steps ahead of people. Wow, I'm so excited about this movie.

OMG>>..that scene you posted Ericadawn....it is amazing. So you've seen script past the 36 pager...cuz the 36 pager ended with Beckett telling Jack he could come to work for him again.

Yes...I'm fired up to see Jack take revenge on all these people that have used him and have taken advantage of his good side, but in the end become remorseful...hey I love it how he says, Turner, especially Turner. Now why is that????? Sounds like the little green monster coming out of jack.

What an incredible scene! That sets up soo much for the rest of the film.
I have to quibble with one thing though. I think in contrast to COTBP in which Jacks desires aligned with the protagonists, I believe that Jack isn't using Beckett to set him up in the same way that he played Barbossa. I'm sadly convinced that Jack means what he says here.

And it is the 'especially Turner' comment that convinces me. He knows on some level that he was sent to his death by Elizabeth in part as punishment for his act of sending Will to Jones to square his debt, and also in part because it seems as though Elizabeth has chosen Will over him. He feels used, abused and probably jealous.

Also, I like how similar Jack and Beckett are. They think alike, and they're essentially both manipulating each other. Jack tricks Beckett into revealing the location of the heart. And while Jack is careful not to take the bait in revealing Elizabeth's importance to him in the "What of Miss Swann" comment, he confirms Beckett's suspicions with the "especially Turner comment". His jealousy gives him away, if you will.

ok lets try to compare, the website just ca,e up and they talk about the pirate king, lets compare,,and try to guess who is the pirate king..

and here is teague...now compare the barrels and the chair....

yes, something about him looking past the suspicion in his eyes....

Wow, I'm loving the rest of that scene. I'm so proud of Jack for doing what he does best--- making sleazy deals with the bad-guys that he has no intention of keeping. haha.
So does this mean he no longer trades Elizabeth, or has that already happened at this point?
What's annoying is that Will and Elizabeth (and willabethers everywhere) will probably accuse him of being false/tricking them/being selfish and trading them... when, as we can all see, this scene nearly directly mirrors the deal Jack makes with Barbossa in film 1, and he's clearly got a better plan up his sleeve.
It's interesting that Beckett has one of the pieces of eight--- where did he get it? Or, who did he kill to get it?

OK those words PIRATE KING came up again in the Website....Jugding by the name of this TOY...i think i know who the PIRATE KING is gonna be! 😉

Pirates Of The Carribean 3: Pirate King Elizabeth Swan with Glowing Brethern Court Globe & Sword

Told ya'll something was up with the name of this TOY!

http://www.amazon.com/Pirates-Carribean-Elizabeth-Glowing-Brethern/dp/B000M5UK1W/ref=sr_1_12/103-3832574-6174226?ie=UTF8&s=toys-and-games&qid=1175585700&sr=8-12

well that explains it...You know that turns jack on...I love how jack stare at lizzie....

Thats Hot there is the Ball and Chain, a big book wonder what that is? and look the DOGGIE is BACK!!! 😄

I Love how there hands are so close!

I love Doggie! do you think they hired(well, not really good word) him at world's end?

I'm glad to see the dog back.

Yes, I get the symbolism with "ball and chain" but what is the actual purpose of that? If you look closely at Liz's right hand, she has the ball chained to her, yet the setting is with the brethren. Did she just get rescued by them or something? Also, LOVE how the other pirates look. They all blend nicely together, but are different looking so each can be set apart.

Yay, you were right Mina, it is Poochie and he does have the keys in his mouth!! Very cool...hehe, and my mom said she was just thinking about the dog and had come to the conclusion that it was Poochie minutes before I told her about the screencap just then.

There is no exchange! Lizzie freely goes with Sao because she's tired of all the pirates at that point...especially Will.

591 INT. ENDEAVOUR _ CAPTAIN'S CABIN - DAY

Jack has been escorted into the room. Beckett signals his guards to leave without turning. He stands at the window, peering out at the Black Pearl. Jack's efforts are on the table -- including the Compass.

BECKETT
Remarkable. When last I saw that ship, it was on fire sinking beneath the waves. I fully excepted that to be .. the last I saw of it.

THROUGHOUT THIS, Jack is surreptitiously searching the office, peeking into cabinets, boxes, etc.

JACK
Close your eyes and pretend it's all a bad dream. That's how I get by.

BECKETT
You can stop searching, Jack. It's not here.

Jack freezes, daintily replaces the lid on a jar.

JACK
It being what?

Beckett turns from the window.

BECKETT
Understand what it is a man wants, and no amount of knavery and machination makes him any less predictable. The heart of Davy Jones. It's not here. It's safely ensconced aboard the Flying Dutchman, and so unavailable for use as leverage to satisfy your debt to the good captain.

Jack reacts to the news the heart is aboard the Dutchman. Beckett takes it to mean he's scored a point.

JACK
By my reckoning, that account's been settled.

BECKETT
By your death. And yet, here you are.

Jack verges on protest -- eh, he's right. Concedes the point.

JACK
Yes, here I am. Painfully aware I am, in fact. Why am I?

Beckett holds up the Compass.

BECKETT
You've brought me this. I owe you a pardon and a commission. So I am offering you a job. In the employ of the East India Trading Company. Working for me.

591 Int. Endevour - captain's Cabin - Day (cont'd)

JACK
We've been down that road before haven't we? and we both know how you get when your advances are spurned.

He displays the brand on his wrist.

BECKETT
I had contacted you to deliver cargo on my behalf. you chose to liberate it.

JACK
People arn't cargo, mate.

BECKETT
You haven't changed. Our busness is concluded. Enjoy the gallows.

JACK
I've been. once you’ve taken in the view, there's not much else to it. but the fact is I have changed. If you'll entertain for a moment a counter-proposal.

Jack produces his piece of eight, rolls it enticeingly between his fingers.

JACK
The brethren court.

Beckett produces his piece of eight, does the same.

BECKETT
I am already aware of the brethren court, and that it is meeting.

JACK
But you don't know where, do you? I do. That’s the offer on the table. you square things with Jones on my behalf, assure me of my freedom, and in exchange, i will lead you to ship wreck cove and deliver up all the pirates on a silver platter.

593 Int. Endeavour - Captain's Cabin - Day

JACK
You can have barbossa. the belligerent homunculus and his friend with the wooden eye, both and turner. Especially Turner.

Beckett notes that suspicion behind his eyes.

BECKETT
And what becomes of Miss Swann?

JACK
The rest go with me aboard the pearl, and i will lead you to shipwreck cove. Do we have an accord?

Jack extends his hand. Beckett smiles at it.

BECKETT
Jack, remember I have this wonderful compass that points to whatever I want.

JACK
Points to what you want MOST and that’s not the brethren court is it???

BECKETT
No?? Then what is, Jack?

JACK
Me (long beat) dead...

He gestures to the compass.

JACK (cont.)
Try it.

Beckett opens the compass, from his reaction, it points to Jack. Jack scuttles sideways, from beckett’s reaction, the needle follows him.

Ohh oh You don't care anymore!? 😕
Are you going to post the next part and the next and the next...., now that you don't care anymore? 😉

In Becketts office on the wall with the map.. they have the pics of all the pirate lords and what they are wanted for.

t says, Captain Jack wanted...DEAD
crimes against the crown, numerous in quantity and sinister in nature.Impersonating an officer of the royal navy, impersonating a clergy member, arson, kidnapping, perjury, piracy, pilfering, ransacking a rum shipment.

Hector Barbossa
wanted.DEAD or ALIVE
for pilfering a bushel of apples,cruelty to animals,instigating a mutiny,theft and kidnapping.

Sao Feng
wanted DEAD or ALIVE
for torturing innocent victims with water and steam, unlawful use of fireworks and firearms, and piracy in the Singapore seas.

Jack is the only one that is wanted dead.. 🙁

BTW Captain Swann did a really good job with those pics, specially the shodowy figure, it looks kinda scary.

592 EXT. Black Pearl - Day

Sao feng's men guard Barbossa, Will, Elizabeth and the rest of barbossa's crew. They wear shackles.

Mercer and a crew of sailers fan out on the ship. the sailors begin preparations to sail. One tries to take the wheel from Huang. Sao Feng and Will intercept Mercer.

Sao Feng
My men are crew enough.

Mercer
Company ship, company crew.

Will (to Sao Feng)
You agreed, the black pearl was to be mine.

Sao Feng
So it was.

Sao Feng gestures. one of his men punches will from behind in the kidneys, knocking the wind out of him. two others shackle his arms

Will is hauled away, Sao Feng turns to Mercer.

Sao Feng(cont'd)
Beckett agreed the black pearl was to be mine.

Mercer
So it was. (smiles) Lord Beckett wouldn't give up the one ship as might prove a match for the Dutchman, would he?

Sao Feng looks around. the sailors outnumber his men, and all are armed, watching for trouble. Sao Feng nods sharply to his man at the wheel -- he steps aside for the sailor.

Mercer gives Sao Feng a half salute and ambles away. Barbossa sidles up next to Sao Feng

Barbossa
Shame they're not bound to honor the code of brethren. Isn't it? of course, honor is a hard thing to come by, nowadays.

Sao Feng
There is no honor to remaining with the losing side. leaving it for the winning side .... that's just good business

Barbossa
The losing side, says you.

Hot!

Its Betrayel upon another. Love it.

Sao kicks ass in this movie. Too bad on what's going to happen to him..*covers mouth*
