I just don't like all the comments that Davy is really this nice guy who's just heartbroken and bitter. All that evil doesn't just appear. Think of it more like Anakin in Star Wars. He didn't just all of a sudden become Darth Vader. It was a process and hints to the dark side (no pun intended) of his personality are revealed prior to his change. I think the same has to be true for Davy and possibly what helped drive him and Calypso apart.
I think you're dead on about Jones. In the script, the minute his heart is on board the Dutchman with him, he starts to feel emotions and tears. To me that suggests that the only part of him that wasn't cruel and sadistic was the heart that he ripped out. Hence, why Calypso was so outraged when he ripped out the only part of himself which was human and loveable. So it wasn't so much Calypso's actions that doomed the relationship, but Jones'. It makes complete sense to me.
It makes you wonder whose story is meant to mirror Jones. Both Will and Jack have taken steps in the same direction. Will has sacrificed his honor in his quest to save his father/his vendetta against Jack. Elizabeth is understandably angry with him and claims he's no better than the other pirates. On the other hand, we see Jack kill his good side in purgatory. And he betrays the whole of the pirate nation to Beckett in his vendetta against all of them. It's all so complicated.

She had an impending death in her family and was depressed when she would post and said she wouldn't visit the forum anymore cus she was bringing everybody down....but supposedly whoever her source was to AWE spoilers gave her some information she was non too pleased about and she fairly certain that all of her theoreis and clues she/us all dug up was a waste of time....she was a huge supporter of jack and liz....but whatever she found out made her disillusioned with the entire trilogy...

Okay....all i've seen is the 36 and 56 pager...and both of those are missing big chunks of the movie..so unless some of you have seen the entire script...how do you know Jack is nowhere around when Liz is in the water...how do you know this one little shot of her in the water is before they meet back up with jack.....I'm so confused.....I really don't understand how you girls are putting the peices of this puzzle together...

There's a scene where Liz is talking to Bootstrap. There, her hair is up.
After that, there comes the scene where we see Liz screaming. I'm not sure how it will come about her screaming for Jack, but I bet my bottom dollar she's screaming Jack.
But it's not in the scene where he's fighting Davy--the last battle.

"What is your purpose here in Port Royal Mr. Smith---And no lies."
Ok, that's fine. But where is this scene in the movie, and how does it all fit in. According to the 56 page script, Elizabeth escapes off the Dutchman onto the Empress with the assistance of Norrington.
But it appears as though the Empress is maybe destroyed at some point, or she falls into the water. Why would she be screaming Jack?
Also, what about the rumor from the Comic Con convention where Elizabeth and Jack leap from a high place?

That's disconcerting. But who was her source, I wonder? I know a lot of people worked on the movie, but it seems suspicious to me that so many people that have the script in their posession and are willing to pass it about higgily-piggily.

yes see that jumping from the high place is something i was looking forward too....i really want to see that and hope that it's true and that they keep that!! It would show that they trust each other!!!
This is all speculation, but I have a feeling if she is indeed shouting "Jack," it's more likely someone is coming after him then him falling off something. He's clumsy I know, but this looks like something really intense just happened, like a battle. Maybe it's not the big battle, but there had to have been an attack or something.
