Gore has stated that Elizabeth WILL be with someone in the end, and TnT said it will not be her choice alone.

WILL be with someone not be with Will. I captalized it to make it look important. But it's not Will Turner.

so this is a good thing? she will end up with Jack!!

Geez Mina, get out of my head and copying everything I say! Gosh! 🙂

Kidding, kidding. Hey, have you taken a look at this yet?

Well, we don't know for sure yet. Anything still goes in the series. All the quote really says is that there are two sides to a choice, and that Elizabeth's may be effected by circumstances outside of her control.

Wait! Time out!!!

We are not sure! Even though I'm a sparrabether, I'm not trying to manipulate the outcomes of it.

But, we do know that William(less cnfusing) will become captain of the friggin Dutchman.

So how would that leave Elizabeth?

Pondering sacrificing herself to Calypso so that she can become immortal with dear William? Or sending Jack off for the Fountain of youth so that she can have eternal life and return to the seas with Will in ten years?

Excuse me while I barf. Hehe kidding.

That's a very likely thing to happen if it was a Willabeth ending. Though, I'm not sure if waiting after 10 years is my cup of tea. To be honest, I don't think even Willabethers would like that idea. Will to see Elizabeth every 10 years?

Even though if they throw this immortality crap into the pot, then for them to be together forever and ever along with their immortal child forever and ever. Then the child would grow find a chick and turn her immortal forever and ever. Blah...blah.

Will has a job to do. To rescue those lost souls. As well as Elizabeth, who turns into Pirate King has a job for herself also.

Aha, very true! Although, and I know this thread isn't about shipping but I feel the need to do so at the moment, if that is the case, it seems as though Will is her choice up until the point where he has the Dutchman. Then, since it seems reasonably impractical for her to gain immortality, she decides that she has to stay with Jack. It's like he's sloppy seconds, if you will. I don't know if that works for me either.

Ok, off the soap box and onto other exciting topics. Such as the pirate vote and the nearly confirmed rumor that Elizabeth becomes the Pirate King, and that Jack votes for her....

Ok, I'm going to take a turn here from shipping to Jack and Tia. We'll go back to shipping later 😛

Ha, jinx!

By the way, does anyone know what debt Jack owes to Tia? Is it about her hiding the slaves?

It could be. What about the compass?

Tia: The compass you bartered from me....

Tia: You know that I demand payment

Edit: Spelling

Yeah, but barter implies a trade of some sort. He had to give her something in order to get the compass in return, savvy?

It's possible though, that the compass that is the source of so much misery is part of the debt he owes her.

Right, so it's more likely about the slaves.

Again, how sure are we? lol

Jack seems to own to everybody.

1) He owns a blood debt to Davy

2) Supposedly to Tia

3) And money to all the pirates

Jack: And I owe them all money

lol, I love that man. Hehe.

Makes me think, maybe Jack does something to repay all those pirates 😄. Since they are all agaisnt the EITC and Davy.

Sorry if this was mentioned b4 but i was watching DMC and i was noticing in Tia's shack when she said "You want to know me", Will was actually moving closer to her, he was moving in for a kiss....then Jack comes and interupts saying there will be no knowing here, and Will kind of snaps out of it with a look on his face like what on earth was I about to do? Has anyone ever noticed that?

and if u listen to the music when Tia says "You have a touch of Destiny about you William Turner" it's like magical if that make sense, like she set a spell and the music chimes...just listen u'll know what im talking about!

But why is Liz in the water?!!!

Does she fall from the rope as she escapes from the Flying Dutchman? When is her hair not up anymore? Because later, she has the hat.

As for what she's discussing with Bootstrap, it should be:

"And if you could refrain from mortally wounding my ex-fiance, that'd be great! Thanks!"

Well, if Jack's already on the Endeavour or the FD, that would make it easier to get to Davy.

Hehe, maybe Elizabeth won't be alone because Poochie's there...

I wonder if Jack's debt has to do with the slaves or the compass.

Unless it is Will?

Of course, it's not completely Elizabeth's choice...no one seems to be able to fight fate in these films. It's just that her choice, that she doesn't have the final say on, doesn't lead to her death or would lead to her death, unlike the other three...

We are thinking that it's the slaves. Tia ALWAYS expects a payment.

Tia: You know that I deman payment.

And Jack knows how she likes to bargain...

Jack was protecting Will from Tia. He knows what will happen if Will gets the chance to know Tia.

He is after all part of the Brethenor Bretheren. However you say it.

I don't know what other three you're talking about...

But the "can't fight fate" line...hmm..

fate intervenes...

You just reminded me of that song:

I just can't get you out of my head, boy you're love is all I think about Blah blah lol

YES! I read that. Freaked me out. And I remember how much the writers kept mentioning about the sword. Will did in fact made that sword...

Ok, let's address these one by one. First question:

Why is Liz in the water?

Well other than the obvious that she may feel compelled to take a bath being the only one with scrupples about personal hiegene, it seems to me that she probably had to swim in order to escape the Dutchman. And it's possible that she's not screaming Jack at all. Or this comes somewhere later, and it's surprise that we don't know about in which, she also has her hair up.

Here's why I'm saying that the scene in the water may not involve Jack. He is apparently surprised to see her at Shipwreck Cove and even more surprised to find she has a piece of eight. Apparently. So me thinks it has nothing to do with the battle scene, nothing to do with the escape from the Flying Dutchman.

Ok, on to the next question. Unless it is Will?

For lack of a better way to put it....HUH? What do you mean by the question. I'm not following.

Ah! *pulls hair*

I'm quiet positive she's screaming for Jack. Just not in that scene where we see Davy and Jack fighting.

Why is she in the water could be of trying to escape the Dutchman. We see her talking with Bootstrap, then the next scene we have her hair the way it was on the other scene: UP!

Ok, so it's Dutchman related perhaps, but Jack isn't anywhere near that scene though. The rumor is that she meets up with him at Shipwreck cove. Of course, the rumors could be wrong, or leaving out major chunks of vital information. The novelization comes out on Tuesday, so I suppose we'll figure it out then.
