Ok, here it is:

Rumor has it that in the final battle scene, Jack gets hold of the heart. Due to the fact that he's betrayed everyone, and Beckett is winning, he intends to stab the heart to make things right. Will, who allegedly is fighting Norrington, sees that Jack has the heart during the course of the battle and is distracted. Norrington deals Will a mortal blow.
Jack sees that Will is dying, takes the heart, over to Will, and with the sword Will made for Norrington, Jack makes Will stab the heart so that he'll become immortal and live.

But I'm having a hard time fitting this in, because there was a rumor going around earlier that has Will becoming the Captain of the Dutchman mid movie. Also, it conflicts with the rumor that Jack is wounded by Davy Jones while he is fighting on the mast and that Jack falls into the sea.

That board that we see jack playing with...would it have anything to do with that brethren/thing that pirates pass down to their sons?

I also have a hard time fitting it in. The scene with will at the wheel of the FD seems to me like a mid-movie scene. But thats just me. 😄

ah..There are so many rumors. It could be anyone of them, or none or a combination. They all conflict with eachother. But I guess at the end of the day they are only rumors and there is nothing we can do but wait for the movie. Though I reckon there is atleast some truth behind each of them.

And thanks for posting that..i think there is a good possibility of quite a bit of truth in it.

I also know for certain that when Will becomes captain of the Flying Dutchman, the crew return to normal, including his father.

That could probably explain the shout Liz has when she screams JACK!

Are we sure she's screaming Jack?

i don't think we are 100% sure but it sure looks like it when you watch the trailer.

when you play it, her lips are pronouncing JACK I promise you that. And someone told me also that she said that who have seen the trailer in english and who knows russian.

Then I would guess that given what we saw in the trailer of Jack fighting Davy Jones, that we've confirmed that the spoiler is true. Which if he fell into the water wounded, that would mean that he would need to be rescued....

That's my guess, but who knows if this is even true. It's a rumor of course until it's confirmed. But it would have a nice tie in to COTBP if she did in fact rescue him from the water.

Perhaps, it looks like there's an apple in the background. Perhaps it's Barbossa. Also, he's got a ball and chain in his hands, and I think there's a shot somewhere of a ball and chains in front of Jack, Liz and Barbossa floating around somewhere. You could be right of course. It's surprising that he doesn't make an appearance in the trailer at all. So maybe this is their subtle way of working him in.

This must be the scene where Jack falls.

It's more than likely the place. The thing I'm having trouble with is the lighting. Here it's lighter like it is in all the clips where Jack is fighting. But when Elizabeth is in the water, things are much darker....Maybe not, looking at the shot it could just be the angle.

There's another shot too where it looks like someone is falling from the mast. I could be wrong, have you seen it Chiki?
