Putting it all together...spoilers

Here's my take. Gibbs and Jack are in Tortuga somehow, with maybe Gibbs trying to convince him to give things up and go back to his former life. So Jack gives it a shot, but because of his experience with Elizabeth, he fumbles, causing a major foul to be called by Giselle.

Which leaves Gibbs to be a ladies man, while Jack maintains his new status as a reformed man.

WOOT! great pics. AWEsome. they say Jack's conversation with the strumpets is one of those "see it to believe it" sorta things wich makes me EXCITED.

The place looked like Port Royal--I have no idea why a couple of sluts would Follow Jack there *shrugs*

But It looks like at the beginning of CotBP when Jack arrives and when Jack rescues Elizabeth.

OMG! I know which part u mean now! never heard the shot before.

Great investigating on your part. I need the movie like NOW!

Well, he is Captain Jack Sparrow. Wouldn't you follow him to Port Royal, or Timbuktu for that matter? Maybe Tortuga is destroyed some how? After all, it's the last free port in the Carribbean. Beckett would want to get his hands on it somehow.

Also, I would imagine that this would be towards the end of the movie. It seems like a falling action, tying everything up sort of plot device. Jack tries to return to his way of life, but can't. Decides to go and pursue something else.

Can you find that scene with the burning flag?

There's supposed to be some sort of signifcance?

I want to compare a bit. Im not saying Im 100% right--but it looks like port royal 😬

Where jack rescues Liz.

You might be right. The setting looks the same, not to mention, when they show Tortuga, it always seems to be at night time. Also, Tortuga is grittier looking. So that raises the question, what in the heck are they all doing back in Port Royal?

I know.

I mean..Tortuga is infested with Pirates..what if, since they are in war, one of them escaped and headed to Port Royal? Perhaps? *shrugs*

Im pretty sure the strumpets found Jack by accident.

maybe they USED the set from PortRoyal but once we see the film we'll see that it's not? Or maybe it's another port we've never seen/ It could be Port Royal though. maybe Scarli and Giselle just came along.

Can we take a raincheck?...I have class in a couple of hours loool.

I want to continue this ASAP once I get home from the university.

More pics, more theories.

Good night and do keep the faith-ALWAYS 😄

xoxo

Sweet dreams. Keep the faith. I'm going too! so bye everyone

Ok, here it is:

Rumor has it that in the final battle scene, Jack gets hold of the heart. Due to the fact that he's betrayed everyone, and Beckett is winning, he intends to stab the heart to make things right. Will, who allegedly is fighting Norrington, sees that Jack has the heart during the course of the battle and is distracted. Norrington deals Will a mortal blow.
Jack sees that Will is dying, takes the heart, over to Will, and with the sword Will made for Norrington, Jack makes Will stab the heart so that he'll become immortal and live.

But I'm having a hard time fitting this in, because there was a rumor going around earlier that has Will becoming the Captain of the Dutchman mid movie. Also, it conflicts with the rumor that Jack is wounded by Davy Jones while he is fighting on the mast and that Jack falls into the sea.

I heard this one and LOVED it. I really hope the above happens... because many insinuations earlier on play toward Jack stabbing the heart (or planning to) but we know it's eventually Will.

i agree, kate.

i like this rumour very much 😄

i guess it would be a nice twist 🙂

okay, i just re-read the last 10 pages of this thread, and am completely overwhelmed. we're going to get so many hot, intense moments, its not even going to be funny. i think i will have a panic attack.

Jack/Liz water saving scene??! no matter how it turns out, that's going to be HOTT. to the extreme.

Jack saving Will? Again.... HOTT. Oh Jack. Good man.

Beckett dying? Hooray! that will be fantastic as well.

Norrington switching sides mid sword fight? HOTT.

(i know i know, i'm going to come up with a wider vocabulary for Hott... LOL)...

Here's a rumour that was discussed at GREAT length a while back but hasnt been mentioned in a while... Jack losing his shirt!!!

😉

I agree. All of that would be HOTT!!

wait, i'm sorry, did we ever figure out the crust man thing? how does that fit in with these spoilers?

I have no idea

Ah..I haven't been able to be on here much...I'm glad you guys mentioned this scene...cuz when I saw it in the trailer it reminded me of Cotbp and now that you have freeze-framed it...I see the strumpets being led away by Gibbs.....Jack almost has a look on his face that says, "now that Gibbs has taken care of those two...just where is Elizabeth, I must find her...."...or something like that....and yes, it does look like Port Royal....what are they doing there?

I don't like any of the ending theories floating around to be honest...cuz they are all just way too bittersweet....I just want to cry....but I want to enjoy the movie and just be happy that Johnny is back as the most awesome Captain Jack Sparrow ever...and you know what Jack is so HOTTT as a Warrior...no more coward...just a friggin, hott Warrior!
