Now, here's something else someone mentioned. Apparently, the scene where a certain badie gets snuffed is also included in the trailer. It's the shot of the ETTC flag burning. There is supposedly something in the background. Can you find it?

Good memory Piratediva! I read your translation. Things suddenly make a whole lot more sense. Especially some of Beckett's speeches. The Pearl is upside down because they have to flip it over in order to return from World's End. In case you didn't already know that.
Well, I don't know it all. This was just a rumor I heard a long time ago. I don't have a script to confirm this, but in terms of lighting and sequencing, what you've put together really makes sense. Actually, a whole lot of sense.
I defintely agree that in terms of the puzzle, Liz's comment of "now's not the time" would have to do with her concern about Jack being on the mast and I agree with the earlier commentary that her response to Will's proposal was more than likely not "now is not the time."
The only thing that doesn't and does fit is the last picture of Liz in the water. And that's only because the lighting is so dark. It's like that's a different scene.

Yes, that's where they flip the Pearl over. My guess with the earlier sequence is that the storm gets worse; it may be that Elizabeth is saying it's not the time because they need to abandon ship. They jump off into the water, and that is where Jack falls.

Haha, good idea with the strumpets. I heard tell that Jack is attempting to be honest with them, and they slap him. My thought has always been that he's attempting to return to his old ways in an effort to prove that he has moved on, but he can't bring himself to do it. Hence why it is that Gibbs winds up with the two lovely ladies and Jack is alone standing on the dock.

BTW I think this is my imagination BUT the pic with Will at the steer of the Dutchman? The background doesn't seem to be CGI it looks like it's painted and that the only real things are Will and the steer.
