Thor vs. Wonder Woman

So, show me a scan that says Thor's force is magically multiplied through some sort of mystical enhancement.

Because - yeah, you can hit harder with a hammer than with your fist because of the increased torque, and the decreased surface area. But besides the purely MECHANICAL advantages a hammer bestows upon Thor, it's never been said that the hammer changes his force in anyway.

Give him an adamantium hammer, and he'd replicate any 'supra-destructor-bolity' feat you want to name.

Are you claiming that it being magical increases it's striking power or are you trying to make a different point?

The HAMMER obviously contributes alot to thor. Period. That is what I'm saying. The things that thor does with it can be used for his power and destructibility. But Not strength. That isn't at all fair. That would be like WW using her sword and everytime she drives it thru a gog lvl being, we use it as a strength feat. The weapon itself adds to the feat.

What the hell is wrong with you? 😕

hell no. an adamantium hammer isn't going to allow him to crack a planet in half nor will it allow him to split the dome of a celestial. The hammer has magical properties and adds to the feat. Only strenth feats i'm taking as purely strength feats are ones performed without it.

Then WW is surely as ****ing strong as they come since she was able to drive the sword of hephestious thru GoGs chest. I loathe to use that as a strength feat, but we can all play that game.

Save 'hitting intangible' beings and stuff like that - that IS magically based...yeah..he would.

No where has it ever been stated that Thor utilizes any sort of mystical enhancement for striking.

Even his FLYING was supposed to be based purely on strength. Not magic.

The sword shaves things down to the atomic level.

The hammer does not assist Thor in any way, shape, or form.

2 things.

1. It's a sword
2. isn't it specifically enchanted to be able to cut through anything(something about slicing atoms or some-such).

accept we know that the hammer glows when he flys right? It doesn't have to be stated that thor utilizes any mystical enchantment. the hammer itself is enchanted. period. The feats don't count as strength feats. I put them on his ability to cause destruction list.

The Sword has a scientific edge. it might as well be adamantium. It's not enchanted and yet she drove it thru gog. So i guess that counts as a strength feat for her. Thanks. that is all i needed to know.

Then it's your opinion that Thor's hammer multiplies his striking power.

And it's an opinion that has absolutely no on-panel support.

Are you actually saying that it being magical adds to it's striking power?

It has to do with how sharp it is, not how strong the wielder is.

Superman certainly wasn't straining himself when he merely ran his fingers across the blade.

Mine, or Nvrs?

it was only a paper cut on him.

Nvrs.

Also, didn't Superman in Kingdom Come cut his finger by merely touching the blade?

Edit:Nevermind, I see that you already mentioned Superman cutting himself on it.

That only shows how sharp it is. I can cut myself on a blade too. But I doubt a 3 year old child could drive that same blade thru the trunk of my body. they lack the strength. there. it's a strength feat for her. just like thor's hammer doesn't add anything to his hits. 😄

Yeah, a three year old could still stab you.

And I speak from experience. 😬.

What it shows is that it's cutting ability has nothing to do with strength.
