Ignoring the mechanical differences between a sword and a hammer.

Ignoring the fact that even a complete WEAKLING would be able to pierce a 'body builder' with a sharp weapon.

And ignoring the fact that the 'sharpness' of the weapon in question was enhanced so much that it could SLICE ATOMS.

As I said, thor's hammer isn't enchanted either. that's basically what your saying. it adds not a thing to him. So why then does he use it? you are so ignorant and lack linear thought it's unreal. Thor's hammer is enchanted - but it's never been stated to increase his striking power.

Portals, energy manipulation, matter manipulation, weather control? Absolutely!

Striking power? Never.

He uses it because he's THOR. Same reason Captain America uses a shield - he's Captain friggin America.

The only advantage, as far as striking goes, that the hammer bestows upon Thor is a mechanical one.

being stabed by a sword in not a feet. swords are disgined to pierce an opponent while required or using little effort. which is why its shaped as it is. the more pointed an object is, the easier it is to pirece through with. look at a needle, you can stab a one inch needle into your arm with very little effort. which is also true with a very sharp knife or sword. the pointed end of the sword will pirce through initally and the sharp enge will do the work.

if anything, a sword stab would not suggest stength. now if you get stabed by a baseball at and it goes through, now thats a strength feet

ive only been here 4 months rex and it seems to me some days are a cool breeze and others turn into ww 3. its just how it is and no one can predict when the bombs are going to really start going off. doing a fine job of disciplining us kids.

without the mods it would just be sheer bashing.
