So...
I posted an article on here a few weeks ago, stating that AWE was centered around LOVE...the complications and the heartache and the trails and retributions of it...
So that means that at some point ALL of our characters are going to be in a postition with 'love' as a compromise or as 'love' being the reason for where they are at a particular moment in time...
I dont mean : Lovey-dovey-get-a-room-because-your're-making-me-sick- Love .... i mean the greater aspects of it...
I think will stabs the heart for the love if his father and liz.
Norrie does something for love ...which ends up backfiring, BUT he redeems himself...
Davy carved out his heart for a woman.
Elizabeth has to decide where her heart truly lies...
and jack...well...the emotion of love will probably make jack come full circle, to be honest.
Shooting his honest self showed his denial, and the fact that he had to close himself back down to the one woman he had actually opened up to...

Very well said, ditte3. And what makes it especially hard for her is that it's not going to be easy either route. People say all the time she and Will will have a boring, conventional life together, and although it will probably be more conventional than a life with Jack, it's going to take a long time for them to have a "normal" life. They can't go back to Port Royal since they are fugitives and if Gov. Swann dies, they have no protection and are pretty much all alone in the world. If they stay together, they're going to have to make a life-changing decision on what's going to happen to them. I think we all know the complications of hooking up and staying with Jack, so anyone who underestimates the "who will she choose" question has to take into consideration it's also asking what kind of life she wants and how she wants things to be.
