I noticed that in the background. I look at that scene, and I know it's going to be intense. The thing with this movie is that you can't tell who is going to live, and who is going to snuff it! So I see all those ships in the background, knowing that the pirates have a limited chance of surviving, and I think, holy smokes this movie is going to be a nail biter!

There's no telling who will make it to the end of the film. It's epic, one part Lord of the Rings, two parts Indiana Jones. There are trailers of films where you know from the clips it won't be very good. If the trailer is almost like a film in itself, what does that say about the movie? There are scenes in the film that weren't even shown!! Talk about major surprises!

and in the end of this trailer in the main roles is of course johnny depp 😄 orlando bloom , keira knightley and ... stellan skarsgärd (or whats his name) these are main roles ... and stellan plays will´s father ... i mean ... i think there is a chance to have J/L and to have Will happy with his father ... maybe it is only coincidence but i see a sense in it 🙂 it perhaps could explain pics with Will on the FD and i think there or somewhere else hah ... were discussions about will being capt. of the FD but he will be good as davy was until he carved out his heart because of one woman and until he started to look at the world so pessimistically ... but it´s interesting that in the trailer or on pics as well , he isn´t (bootstrap)...

LOL....I hope so Jacks Sweet...although the more i learn about this film...the more difficult i see the choice between Jack and Will getting that im starting to believe that Liz will probably end up alone....making her own path!!!

especially with that line in the Trailer that Beckett says " They know they all face extinction" and then the show 3 quick shots 1 of Will, 1 of Liz and 1 of Jack!!! so really anything goes!!

Omg what if they decide that she stays with no one and Will becomes Captain of the Flying Dutchman, Liz drowns (maybe as a sacrifice) and Jack becomes Crusty, Barnicle Face at the end of the movie. Maybe they'll fix the triangle by killing Liz off and Calypso casts a spell on both Jack and Will making them Immortale, to never be able to die and be with Elizabeth! and that is in away their Punishment to never be able to be with each other!!!

There's going to be a lot of good sword fighting in this film, according to rumor. There will be a three way sword fight; allegedly it will be Will versus Davy, Beckett and Norrington.

^^ That would rock. You know what? I'd love to know what happens to Mercer. I like him, evil git that he is. 😄

Of all the characters, I think Mercer has the potential to be the most damaging and sneaky. He'll pull a sneak assasination somewhere during the course of the film that will probably surprise us. He lurked in the shadows in DMC, he'll more than likely come into the forefront in AWE.

Isn't Mercer like the guy who does Beckette's dirty work? lol

He will probably die in Beckettes arms and Beckette will try to avenge his lover--erm his best friend's death 🙂
