That's what I'm saying, something bad is happening right there in that picture, we just can't see all of it. Will gets mad often, but he also often is a quick thinker that does most things for a reason. Doesn't it look like he's getting ready to say something to someone?

I think what's happening in that top picture is Will has just been promoted to the dutchman and he either

A: is not very happy he's there...

B: has turned evil like the dutchman...

C: somehow... involuntarily got made captain of the dutchman...

we do know one thing is that when he get's the scar and becomes captain it happens after the big battle scene...

I'm sorry, I have to vent. If you're going to a movie that has giant krakens, undead pirates, cursed gold, undead monkeys, a squidman, and a compass that magically points to whatever you want the most, I would venture to say the series requires somewhat of a suspension of belief. I'm going to be very blunt and just say that if you're going to argue with the CREATORS of the series, they know the characters a little better than you do. If you're going to argue with the people that gave you the series you dissect and analyze to no end, you're just an ungrateful bastard, and if the only reason you're a fan of POTC is the romance, you've missed the point.

As a fan of creative writing and the process of script writing, I have a hell of alot of respect for the writers. Not just because of the films they are producing, but the dialogue and the characterization that they use...its amazing!

No one has a real right to tell the creators of a movie that they don't know what they're doing...they're very experienced and as far as i am aware, they have never let anyone down before.

I dont know if this is anyone from this board or not (because i like to think that i am talking to civilized people lol 🙂 ) but its incredibly rude for people to openly diss someone elses work...

But you can betcha that TnT will be laughing their arses to the bank, because even the people who are saying sh!t are gonna watch AWE...TnT can't lose lol 🙂

Who thought that the Sparrow vs Davy Jones swordfight looked mighty promising? Nice how the sound of the swords clashing matched the music itself lol.

Honestly, the sword fighting scene and the scene where Barbossa leads the Pearl into a gigantic whirl pool cackling like a witch pretty much sold me. I'll go see the movie no matter what happens.

Yeah, that whole sword fight completely captured me! Even if it's only in for like a minute of the whole movie, I'm definately seeing it. 🪩 Barbossa's laugh is awesome! 😂

lol. i love Barboss's laugh. If I had to pick one thing in the trailer that sold the movie to me, it would have to be the scene with Barbossa steering the shi around the whirlpool, cackling like a mad man.
