He has a long history of military service, wet-works and black opts. Wolverine has used fire arms for the majority of his career. Wolverine has only been part of the X-Men for 10-15 years, and before that do you know what he was doing? Wetwork and black-opts missions, where he used guns. He is quite proficient with fire arms, his shown it several times, in fact he is the person he trained Storm to shoot. Logans time in the x-men is a fraction of his history buddy. He's better trained with fire arms than Blade and he has more experience.
