Case in point. You have to take my word.

Are you stronger than mindset because you can lift 310lbs or is mindset stronger because he says he can lift a bench a motorcycle.

Military press should be easier standing up.

Try it sometime.

I have, it's easier because you use more muscles.

At least for me

I have never lifted a bike. But I can lift some models.

Are you using a seat with a back rest?

Captain America has never been said to cap out at 800lbs on panel. That is a number that exists only in the handbooks.
ok, that doesnt answer the question if he is consistently shown over 800

There is no way possible than a person can military press 800lbs in the real world.

Depends on how heavy I go, the lighter the weight I can go w/o a back rest, but if I'm going heavy I'd either use a back rest or standing military press so I wouldn't hurt my back.

Virtually all the strength feats I posted would require strength above 800lbs.

He has posted a host of strength feats. There are others in the respect thread. I have shown him curling 500lbs during training. If 800lbs was his max with supreme effort, he wouldn't be capable of these things.Pretty consistent.

Very nice. Here we see Cap curling 500lbs after doing a bit of gymnastics.

800lbs his max lifting ability. 🙄

Cap even says he don't have superstrength there. And There is a guy I work out with who can curl 225lbs.

I think Cap's SSS powers may have been gone at that time, actually.

It's relative to what he had just lost. He was referring to the superstrength he had beforehand.

Nice little fact there but how does it help? Cap curling 500lbs repeatedly after doing gymnastics during training is impressive. That and the plethora of other strength feats clearly put him at well above his handbook level.

ps. Realtively speaking 1 or 2 ton lifting strength in the wider comicbook world isn't terribly super.

He's curling a little over half what he can military press. If he can max at 800lbs. military he should be able to curl 500.

800lbs is what the bios say he can do with MAXIMUM effort for one rep with full concentration. Yet we see Cap curling 500lbs continuously while speaking to someone else after performing complex gymnastics during training. He can lift more than 800lbs.

You are getting bogged down on this feat and haven't commented on the whole host of other feats which put him at well over his handbook level.

I'm commenting on the feats that actually say how much weight he is lifting and so far it figures in with the handbook figure. 😉

I'm estimating I can max at 160 or so on military, but I can curl 100lbs for sets.

That example of Cap curling 500lbs is from the brief period where he lost the powers from his SSS, wasn't it?
