The American Dream ......What a joke!

Your argument, just like most others are here, is flat. What about the few who enter the upper middle-class or the upperclass by either chance/luck or strictly by hard work. I don't think they go in with evil plans to oppress the poor worldwide. Poverty's the very last thing on a wealthy persons life, he/she won't get involved.

I know if i became rich, i'd do what i can, to the best of my ability to help my brethren. I don't know about you but no matter how much money i have, whether I have a few million bucks or I'm short 35 cents, it'll always kill me to see a hungry little kid on the street begging for change, in the U.S., of all places.

LeBron James, Kobe Bryant, Kevin Garnett - each are NBA all stars who came into the league by getting drafted out of high school. For each player like them, there are tens of thousands who placed everything into basketball and are now on their ass doing nothing. Didn't even consider college and know there's nothing for them.

That's not to say some do not go to college with the plan of playing for one year and getting drafted, but the point is that it's not a good/realistic way of looking at things.

So quote the exception to the rule, why?

Thank You chithappens for understanding where I was coming from unlike some others on here. I am just glad that I know other people have the same feelings about the matter. However, I understand that not all will agree and thats fine "free speech" still exist ( at least on this forum)............. 🙂

I'm all for free speech but geez... some people are chastising for the fun of it bash

I was going to post this thing that's been copied and pasted all over Facebook called "A White Woman's Opinion Of A Black Woman," but I wouldn't dare do so now. Some are just finding this like sport - piss people off to feel good about themselves.

It's really sad actually blow

I am curious to read that if I am able too. So tell me how or post a link .
I see the situation from both angles seeing as how I have a black father and a white mother both who are seperated and let me tell you christmas is very different at wach location. Everyone is different but this does not entitle anyone to be hated for it.

Once again how can I read that?

A white woman writes a letter to a black magazine. She is engaged to a black man and wants to know why black men are going for white women instead of white women and why black women stare are her so crazy when her and her fiancee are together. A black man responds and yea...

I'll pm you the blog like thing first so you can see why I'm so reluctant and then tell me if you think it should be posted.
