No, DL's out. I'm in charge. We're taking a week or so to fix things. I'm gonna go over the rules and see what changes need to be done.

The caps will stay as they are except possibly energy. That one may be adjusted. But I'll be sure to let everyone know quickly. But this time, if I even THINK someone is over, they're out.

Everyone go chill and think up picks for a few days. I'll pm everyone if I make any changes. if anyone has rule changes or ideas, I'm all ears. Until at least tuesday, CHILL THE **** OUT!

Edit: the composite cap idea is interesting. Give me a few ideas and some time to work it out. I'll see if we can fit it into the rules. thanks khell. 😄 I'll pick a random order to the drafting, and just pull names out of a hat. The cheating and aggravation stops here. 👇

Thats a bit extreme, if someone can show you they are not over the caps after you ban them, you would of course let them in right?

Adjusted up or down for energy?

Just a thought but, you seem to know Apokalypse pretty damn well and he does seem to have a lot of abilities when he actually utilizes them.

Why don't you just make him the caps and then you'd probably understand the territory pretty damn well. IMO

Of course. The burden of proof is on you guys to show they are under the caps. But if you prove it, then I'll of course re-admit the characters. Adjusted down if anything. I had no idea Dr. Light was a team buster when I drafted him or suggested him as the cap. So the energy cap may be adjusted down. But if I can't find anything good, I'll just leave it. Do you guys want the energy cap down, or stay as is? Btw, I'm moving this discussion to the tournament rules thread. and asking Digi to lock these.

Edit: I was thanking Khell for supporting me. Sorry for the mixup. Hmm, Apoc as the composite cap. interesting idea. I'll think about it.

I don't see any need for a flight speed cap as long as there's a reaction cap.

Energy limits should be set separately for offensive and defensive abilities.

A "Tech Limit" isn't a good idea at all ... the versatility limit more than covers it.

Healing should be capped.

Apocalypse is a good mid-tier composite cap. He has strength, durability, telekinesis, energy projection, telepathy, tech, teleportation.

He's pretty much a jack of all trades and the last step before Herald level (or, maybe low to mid herald level).

Sub-Apocalypse.

Also, though, this would mean you couldn't amp past Apocalypse also. He's the final stop gap.

Does Apoc have a decent respect thread cause I have no idea what power level he is when not jobbing.

What exactly is wrong with capping off someone's flight speed to get them in if they aren't over any of the power or durability levels? what's wrong with cutting off powers completely?... it certainly doesn't leave the team in question with an advantage.

Mar-Vell never uses all his vaunted speed in a fight... it is doing nothing at all to put his speed down... unless he is flying in a straight line... which he won't be doing.
So, what exactly is wrong with him getting put at a cap in speed... since he never uses it in a fight?

That's a problem. On this board there's this popular myth that Apocalypse is weak. That's far from true and is mostly based on spite at him being an overused X-Men Villain. He's pretty high end. Not quite Surfer or Thor, but solid and very versatile. You should read up on him. If you go by this board's opinion Coffee tables>>>Apocalypse.

It would be base Apoc.

Meaning mid-Class 100 at max (100-150 tons max).
