Not exactly.
Ironman doesn't embody all of the abilities that could be brought to bare. Apoc does, and it would be Sub Apoc (including amping your character).
But this is merely suggestion. It's trickster's call.

A "Tech Limit" isn't a good idea at all ... the versatility limit more than covers it.

Great. So we have a mutiny and multiple controversies. Regardless of some of DL's decisions, he was trying....usurping his authority and re-doing the whole thing probably isn't the answer.
And now limits will change, so we'll have more planning to do, and re-arraging of picks.
You know, I bought a crapload of issue for the guy we were about to draft. This whole thing just turned to horse sh*t.
I have better things to do right now with my life. If it picks back up under the old limit, maybe I'll consider it. Otherwise, I'm done.
I agree with you Scoobs. I just feel Apoc is a better choice as a cap because Ironman doesn't have telepathy, telekinesis, teleportation, etc all wrapped into one. This way there's one defined limit to shoot for rather than having to limit here to match Dr. light but raise this here to match Namor.
It's one stop shopping.

I agree on all counts. And Apocalypse will be the composite limit (and cannot be drafted). the caps will remain the same. Except for energy, which is being reviewed. And WE WILL STILL BE DOING AN IRON MAN LEVEL TOURNAMENT!
so everyone relax. We're just redrafting because this one got screwed up. Essentially, it's the same tournament, with maybe 1 new limit. I'm considering a rule of only one energy manipulator, anyone think that's a good idea?

Of course not. ❌ I like this tournament the way it is. And if DL hadn't completely botched it and ruined the caps, it would have been fine. The ONLY cap I might change is energy, and that's because people pointed out to me that Dr. Light is a teambuster, and guys like Dr. Polaris, etc. What's the consensus, do we keep the energy cap, or nerf it? Also, I need 2 more judges. I'm already going to use Nataku, but I need two more. Basically, 3 judges for the matches, 2/3rds majority to win. Like Boxing. I myself, will not vote on the outcomes of the matches. so, any ideas on that end? 🙂
