New Abortion law, about ultra-sounds...

You should really use my entire post if it relates... More importantly I said "Though not impossible, why is it at the forefront ?"... You'll say it is not, so there we have it.

Hypothetically speaking as it relates to this thread, if a fetus that was going to be aborted, but the mother decided not to go through with the procedure after seeing the ultrasound pictures for whichever reason; a "life" would technically be "saved" when the fetus passed the legal abortion threshold or at the very least when the baby is born.

I love the way you had to highlight the words "life" followed by "technically" and followed by "saved". Because we all know that what a foetus has, isn't a life. Therefore it's not truly saving two "lives" by letting the baby be born. It's allowing one life to be acquired, and two to possibly be ruined.

So "salvage" might be a better word.

Well, if a fetus that was going to be aborted, but was not aborted for whatever reason(s); what do you call the baby when it's born if not "a life"?

An accident

How does that add or take away to "a life"?

It adds humour.

Key words being: When, It's and Born.

Irrelevant, but I can flow with humor. 😄

Outside of the topic, but is that where you draw the line to "a life", the moment of birth?

Birth is medically the easiest option. However, medically, its probably before.

Yeah, it's very arrogant for someone to think they can define when a lifeform matters and when it doesn't.

How is it arrogant? Not only are we not discussing when it "matters", but even if we were, I'm deciding when it matters to me, not to anyone else.

To answer Robtard's question: I define it as having a life when it is born, yes. Not when it's still in the womb attached to the mother. Although technically, it isn't sustaining itself, so even that's up for discussion, if we're going to get into it. Forgive my lack of enthusiasm, I have done this before.

No, I just wanted the insight.

AC seems to provide you with a fair bit of that. He's an excellent poster.

Since you have/had trouble understanding; I'll spell it out... I asked for insight on his personal opinion on specific matter for the purpose of better understanding the person I am debating with.

I am glad you think he is an "excellent" poster. You cheer-lead extremely well.

Your definition is not factual. A foetus is a living thing.

Ignoring what I say and implying I said something else in order to bait me is pathetic. You've done it repeatedly and I've not played along with your little games, you're better off trying it on someone else if you must do it.

I merely replied to your post 😬 Why be touchy.
