I didn't realize that when Eclipso possessed someone, their durability increased.

Not to mention Surfer doesn't have access to magical lightning from a skyfather, so this statement is moot.

There was no amp there. Look at this way. Superman and Mon-El stalemated in the 90s. Later, Superman defeated an Eclipsed Mon-El so if anything, Eclipso just makes Daxamites/Kryptonians weaker because of their problem with magic. 🙂
