Heres the dress again, is from KB toys..

Is that supposed to be Elizabeth's wedding dress? Because if it is, it doesn't work out with the getting married on ship theory. Like, she wouldn't go below deck mid-battle to change into her wedding clothes, come back up, step over a dead pirate and say 'I'm ready.' And who would marry them? It would have to be the captain, and who's ship are they on during that scene?
It's beside the point, but I'm so jealous of Elizabeth's dresses. They are so detailed and perfect and beautiful. Even if they are anti-breathing. I always wanted a beautiful 18th century dress.
Well, they could elope essentially, and then have a more traditional ceremony on land. Or since he's not allowed to go on land, they could have an official ceremony after the battle has run its course. It seems like an awful lot of work, but they didn't actually get to go through the ceremony the first time.
Lost about what? These are supposed costumes set to be released as AWE mechandise. Meaning that there is supposedly a wedding. Also, there is that red coat floating around online that the costuming company has listend as 'Jack Sparrow's wedding coat'. There's no proof of anything yet. We were just discussing.
We already saw the scene where Will proposes to Liz. So if Barbossa was to marry them like the rumor says, then it would be silly of seeing Barbs appear out of nowhere:
Will: Will you marry me?
Liz: I don't think this is the best time.
Barbossa: *BLING* do you, Will, take her as your wife?
Will: I do--where do you come from?
Barbossa: Do you, Liz, take Will as your husband?
Liz: I do..?
Barbossa: I pronounce you bla bla--gotta go I'm in a middle of a battle.*BLING*
Well, you have to remember that Elizabeth is essentially a Captain. I'm not sure it's particularly legal, but who's to say that she wouldn't be able to officiate the ceremony.
To me, it doesn't sound particularly practical. If they marry it would be after the battle is over. I think they decide that if they survive the battle, they'll marry one another. But a wrench is thrown in the wheel when Will becomes immortal.
Which brings me to two things that the writers have said about the situation. The first is that Elizabeth's decision will not solely be her decision. We know this is the case for two reasons, one: Will is wounded and is essentially forced to become the Captain of the Dutchman by Jack or die. He chooses the later. So in a way, her decision is significantly impacted by both men. Jack essentially chooses Will for her by sparing his life. Also, the writers said that if the triangle is written correctly that the fans should be divided. That by the time the movie is over, one side of the fandom would join the other in applauding the "MOST CORRECT CHOICE."
Not the best choice, not the right choice, but the MOST CORRECT CHOICE. I've always looked at those words in terms of character, but now I think I want to look at it in terms of plot.
In terms of what we know about the resolution of the battle, who then is the most correct choice?
The wording of that is interesting to me.

Yep I can see that happening a marriage during a battle scene, that would be kick ass, who knows maybe Davy Jones or Calypso marries them.
Misty..I just love your siggy....
anyways, any wedding between Will and Liz would not be kickass for me...ha HA...LOVE the part about Davy or Calypso marrying them..now that would be just plain funny, that.
I don't trust the internet rumors...jack's wedding coat...yeah, right.
I don't buy that one.
I'm not sure as to why toys and costumes are coming out having an Elizabeth Swann wedding gown...all pure white and looking more modern day in a way....just seems weird....ya know?
One thing that keeps baffling me though, is why is Disney promoting toys that make Jack and Elizabeth seem like a couple...Jack and Liz in the combo Pirate Attack Pack..."is it love or is is hate between Jack Sparrow and Elizabeth Swann"....why is it in Disney stores...Mickey Mouse is "jack Sparrow" and Minnie Mouse is "elizabeth swann"..
who writes those comic books..they have the Disney mark, so they must be approved by Disney. The comic book really makes it seem that both jack and elizabeth are in love with each other.
So, what is one to think. Then we have this mysterious thing where t and t say that there is no love triangle, and if there is one it was resolved at the end of DMC. All so very strange.
I'm sorry I'm analyzing on the "analyze or not to anlayze" thread..can't help meself....
Wow, i go away for 3 days and there is already a mass of info to go through lmao! 😄
Ok, my thoughts 😄
Jack's wedding jacket:
Nah, i dont buy it.
UNLESS it was a wedding jacket for jack to wear whilst watching a wedding?
Elizabeths wedding dress:
I agree with Aelizabeth.
I dont think a wedding could be done during a battle, unless liz decided to go downstairs and change first? And i dont see that happening lol.
Was there a elizbabeth wedding dress brought out for DMC????
Lovethemtigers,
I have to agree with you that the combo pack and the mickey and minnie mouse thing DOES sound suspicious...
Disney must have something up their sleeves if they are promoting AWE in this way...(unless they feel that Jack/liz ups the promotion of the film, rather than will/liz...)
Damnit, im analying on my thread that i promised myself i wouldnt analyze on lmao!
Oh well....if you cant beat em ...🙂 hehe.
Yes, TnT said that the triangle could be more or less solved by the end of DMC....
So if you look at that from AWE point of view,
you could see it like this;
Will stabs the heart and becomes the captain of the crocodile machine, and liz chooses will...but she knows that she will always hold something for Jack, and jack knows that too.
They said it was going to be "bittersweet"....and what is more bittersweet than choosing one man you love over another man that you have very strong feelings for???
Damnit!!
**Bangs herself over the head to make herself stop analyzing**

Thank you lovethemtigers..
No a wedding between W/E in the mist of a battle would not be kick ass..It would be a kick in the ass..And I don't think there will be a wedding during a battle. With people getting killed and guts splashing around?? Yes very romantic 🙄
The wedding gown seems really suspicious, the advertisement says is from AWE, Another weird thing I notice is that says, "As if you step right off the movie" 😕 And those costumes won't be available until April 16? I don't want to jump in to conclusions. But that seems a bit to suspicious..
Those toys and promotional J/L merchandise have to mean something, I don't think they are doing it just for pure enjoyment and fun..Come on! 😉
