That would work as long as we never get past Page 1 again.

Superman one shotted Despero in Superman/Batman this past week. Should Despero get moved down? ๐Ÿ˜–hifty:

I saw that, and meant to mention it.

To the contrary, moves Supes up. ๐Ÿ˜–hifty:

Well, he already proved he's better than one Pre Crisis Superman in the Golden Age version, given their performances against SBP, while standing in Kryptonite that affected only our Kal.

True but if one goes an looks at the feats of Superman before COIE it becomes apparent that SBP wasn't doing anything near what he was capable of.

I dunno, all the Supermen were messing with time, going ftl speed[though it didn't write it in context for us. But the idea that when Lois died on Earth 2 the E2Supes screamed, Superman heard it on current Earth and flew all the way across the cosmos to where Earth 2 was by the time it stopped.], he blitzed all the lanterns at once after cutting through miles of energy. Maybe it was me, but I thought he was decently impressive, and again, decently represented. Especially when you consider how many characters the comics had to cover.

But in fact, that makes current Supes up there with 2 Pre-Crisis Kryptonians, in Superboy Prime and Golden Age Superman.

edit: Oh, and he was pushing planets around the universe at ftl speeds. And messed up the Titans/JSA past and present. And time travelled to get back from were the Flashes ran him too. And escaped the Phantom Zone dimension under his own power.

Three votes for a Transcendent Superman ๐Ÿ™‚

Oh snaps!

I like how you also posted the scans of Supes fighting off the Black Rock affected people Validus... Powergirl and Martian Manhunter and GL Kilowog are no jokes, add in the rest of them and it was a very very powerful team, even the new blue beetle was there, who in his solo series has gone toe to toe with Lonar [considered the best fighter on New Genesis outside Orion according to the 89-91 volume of New Gods.], as well going rounds with GL Guy, some magic users and others. Granted they aren't in their right minds its still a powerful team... I'm not sure it would matter too much given the other time a handful of issues back in the S/B series Superman took down Captain Atom, GL, and like a dozen others guys in a panel or two all the same.

I meant during the fights

But anyway Supes' current average is well below fending off PreCrisisKryptonians.

I dunno, have you been reading Superman much recently? The guy is certainly crazy powerful.

Though I do grant you, Pre COIE the Kryptonians were written crazy, but the current one is written just as strong in the comics themselves. Not much else to be said there. The only real difference is a lack of utterly cheesy 70's acid-head writing. We have new millenium quality acid head writing.

Yeah, that page where Martian Manhunter, Power Girl and Blue Beetle struggle to hold back his left arm just gets me for some reason. ๐Ÿ˜‚

Not really but I hear they are starting to bring him back towards PreCOIE levels.

๐Ÿ˜‚ Which is why I think it will be hard to get him on PreCrisis levels. In the 70s writers really had no idea what they were talking about and now they might question some (OK a miniscule portion) potentialy insane feats for Supes.

srug At least he isn't casually time traveling at this point (at least I hope he's not)

Superman has statues of the LOSH in the Fortress. He couldn't know them without some time travel. ๐Ÿ˜„

He's been moving 'back towards' those levels since the late 90s, he's pretty much there now.

The casual time traveling the Pre-C Superman is the one thing he hasn't started doing on his own yet. Though I wouldn't be surprised if he could simply will a Sunstone to do it for him. Since the Sunstone and the Fortress are basically magic-level tech now. He seems to be able to will it to do whatever.
