It's bullshit to sell tickets, Rock probably won't be back until the Rumble now. And anything Cena does in the next year will be worthless.
It's like playing a PS2 when you know your mom is going to be buying you a PS3 soon. You're just looking forward to it and what you have now seems shit by comparison.

Yep. It is just disgusting, but I'm not surprised given the current quality of the business. Shame though because the WWE could've used The Rock for the entire year. In fact it needed him, but whatever. I dunno why I keep hoping for it to try and get better but meh, Vince doesn't really care.

I agree. That is why the whole "WM 28 Rock vs Cena" is such a lame, distasteful strategy IMHO. They hype us with Rock and Cena messing with each other and now we have to wait an entire year to watch it unravel? Now if Rock returned and actually wrestled and stirred shit up then I wouldn't mind but he will probably be gone until Royal Rumble or til his next movie is finished ~_~ He could use the warmup to boot because he is clearly rusty.
* Rock is a trash-talker in legendary status, WWE could've used that… he does not need to have a match if he won't be coming back to WWE permanently, especially with Cena… although I love to see Rock and Stone Cold fight again, I'm already satisfied with WM19 when Rock finished their feud… now I want Rock versus HHH to settle their feud once and for all… or Rock versus Taker, or HBK or Jericho or Big Show or hell, even Kane or Vince or Shane McMahon… but not Cena…

* I'm also observing the reactions of Cena fanatics on Facebook, where they claimed Rock screwed their hero… but in my assessment, Cena did not win the WWE Title in the first place because of the double count-out, so how in the blue hell did Rock screw Cena? and yes, Rock restarted the match and made it no count-out and no DQ, Rock Bottom Cena, let Miz win, People-s Elbow Miz and feed on the cheers of "the millions"… that's the Rock! he does not care… the funny part was (which the Cena fanatics failed to understand), that Rock created false hope on Cena when he restarted the match… he created false hope on Cena that he still has another chance to win the WWE Title but Rock crushes that hope with a defining Rock Bottom… and come Monday Night Raw, Cena never got angry and still managed to smirk and smile… now that's ridiculously stupid…
* Rock-Cena on WM28 is… i don't know how to describe it but it seems rotten… I mean you crave for pizza and your mom finally promises to buy you one but until a year after… and the way how WWE sucks to date, it seems that WWE will make Cena win on that match…
* but since it's all said and done, there's one thing we should be happy about… it's how the Rock exposed Cena as an untalented fruit-loopin' clown who owns the 2 to 5-year-olds, that segment cracked me up! 😂 Rock compared Cena to Kermit the Frog and Barney, and Fred Flintstone as Cena's hero… Rock said what we all want to say to Cena, never done by any fellow WWE superstar in the locker room… it takes guts, ya know…
* finally, I'm also an Edge-fan, and it's sad to see a wrestler like him retire because of injuries… besides his adulterous affair with Amy Dumas and him smooching lips with Vicky Guerrero, I like his character and storylines… I wish him well… in his 19-year-run as a wrestler, he never lost his coolness, I mean when you see him entering the arena, you gotta say, "man, Edge is so cool"… I just hate it when he bursts into tantrums and pulls his own hair like a madman, 😂 but nevertheless, Edge is still cool, and he is still one of my favorite wrestlers… thank you, Edge! 🙂

and the sad part is, Edge was probably the last WRESTLER that they had left. He was the only one who could wrestle and cut promos and pull the crowd regardless of heel/face. now, the only reason I watch wrestling is because of CM Punk
