Honestly, I think their best face worker on a regular basis in terms of ability and ingenuity in the ring is Alberto Del Rio. Dude has really come into his own since his face turn.

Agreed. I think he was decent as a heel, but he'd really come along. He doesn't cut the most eloquent promos, but he knows how to get the crowd behind him. After him, I'd say Sheamus is the only really good face all round.

as a kid growing up, Hogan was my favourite. The Rock changed that during the attitude era. I marked out so hard for that guy.

* same here...

Now, though, I can't help but dislike him. He's probably on steroids, and while I like that he's willing to put guys over clean, he has to know that he's not able to compete in that state any longer.

* i understand the hate... thing is, it would be better if he is not the WWE Champion, he could've done everything even if he doesn't have the belt... you/we could've liked it better if that's the case... because i know he can still roll with the guys in the locker room...

* and yes, i hate the steroid thing... he can buff himself up even without it...

Cena... Yeah. I like him as a person; I even like his promos sometimes (he is very bad at times, admittedly). His in-ring performances are generally poor, though. That match against Punk showed us what he was capable of, but if he's not going to show some consistency week to week, then I dunno. I want to like him as a wrestler, but I just can't at this point.

* so Rock lost, but he still didn't take the opportunity to turn heel? because of the children? oookkkaaayyyyy... 😛

The best part of the match, for me, was when Cena was about to do the people's elbow, and he actually showed that he'd learned from last year and faked out the Rock.

If Hulk Hogan - one of the biggest faces of all times, arguably THE biggest - could turn heel, then there's no reason why Cena couldn't.

The only real problem is who's going to be the big babyface to stand up to him? Rock's probably going to go away or at best, only do PPV matches. Del Rio is the WHC and it's unlikely they'd do a unified title anytime soon. Like Pr said, the only real legitimate babyface that's even marginally over enough to compete in the main event is Sheamus. There are plenty of good workers in the company, just not enough ready for the main event status. And Punk is still currently the most over heel by far, so a Cena heel turn wouldn't mesh well as of now.

But it is certainly possible.

I always thought Cena made a better heel or neutral than he does a face.

Orton wants to turn heel too, so it can't be him. Ryback is fine ability wise, but lacks charisma imo. If Ziggler turned face, or Jericho stuck around, I could see them doing it.

WM29 was just a bad show overall. Was liking the Fandango match until Jericho botched the end.

The Del Rio match was good, but I was looking forward to a cash in. (I guess it was too predictable though)

Punk/Taker was the MOTN, except I wish the table had broken.

HHH/Lesnar was good too, it's a shame the crowd was so quiet.

Cena/Rock was more or less what I expected. A completely shitty kickoutfest with a stupid feel good ending. Really put a damper on the show.

That's not to say I hate Cena having the belt - I think it's good actually, and it's been a while since he's had it. I just think it could have been handled better.

Also dirtsheets are reporting Rock has gone AWOL

I was hoping for an attempted cash-in too. Surprised that Del Rio won.

One thing I noticed is that there was no "omg holy shit" moment. All great PPVs have something that you can tell your friends about. WM29, not so much.

Reaction to the Rhodes Scholars match getting bumped from Wrestlemania:

http://bleacherreport.com/articles/1597603-wrestlers-comment-on-getting-bumped-off-wrestlemania-29-card

You know I got to say that I am glad I did not shell out 70 de nero's for this years Mania. Most of the whole card reeked of predictability. Should have been called Predictamania. The only matches that had me suprised as to the outcome, was Del Rio vs Swagger and Ryback vs Mark Henry.

We ALL KNEW Punk was not ending the streak, though to be honest, something in my mind thought that Lesnar would come out the victor over Triple H.

It seemed the most two predictable matches was ofcourse Taker vs Punk and Rock vs Cena(and Jericho-Fandango) I really did not want Rock-Cena 2. When The Rock won the championship from Punk, and when Cena won the Rumble, I knew that The Rocks time was indeed up. It felt like what someone said, Rock was in a sense holding the belt for SuperCena. It also felt like the belt was redesigned for Cena as well. Sh!t even Stevie Wonder and Ray Charles could see this clearly.

As for The Rock yes he is not there full time, and he may not be the in ring performer he use to be, but GDAMMIT no one can deny the fact The Rock did help the buyrates and intrest in ppv's upon his return. I just hate the fact that he was used as the guy to hand over the belt to Cena.

As for John Cena...don't get me started. People complain about Triple H's title reighns, but Supercena is just about there in number of title reighns. Triple H I believe is 13 and Cena 11 if I am correct. If you go all over to wrestling sites, yeah people want for him to turn heel, but like we all know it will never happen.

Vince is scared to death he will lose all of those women, teenage girls and kids if MY GOD Cena should go to the "badside" and Cena's merchadise sales will go KERPLOP. Bottom line is we are going to see a STALE A$$ superman repetitive title run....same ol shyt.

I told PR through pm that I dont hate John Cena the person,(I actually like the person) just the character. Infact I liked Cena when he was the dr of thugganomics and when he was heel insulting his opponents through rap. I remember when he was the heel going against Lesnar, that he made a ryhme ending with Brock has a tattoo of his mom on his back....that is the Cena that was great and that I miss.

I didn't pay for mania either. badawe

raw spoiler:

Spoiler:
HOLY SHIT, ZIGGLER CASHED IT IN!

The beginning of raw had booker t tell the wwe universe, that The Rock has a rematch clause. I don't know if Rock-Cena 3 is a good idea.

Rock won't fight him again, I don't think.

So far, RAW has been better than WM.

Raw was excellent, one of the best I've seen in a while. Titles changing hands, and that was some heel turn.

Agreed. I enjoyed Ziggler's win...it was fresh having someone win a big title without having to wait on a ppv.

I actually said "holy shit" out loud when I heard Ziggler's music. And when Del Rio locked in the armbreaker I thought that was it, but damn, Ziggler did so well.

Hey guys, I got a question; it was either around 2007 or 2008, there was this new wrestler with long hair and always looked nervous when he first showed up. After losing a few matches, he was wearing bandage straps but manage to start winning more of his matches after that.

That's really all I remember of him. I can't think of his name but I hope somebody around hear would know what I mean. Anybody remember his name?

Was he in WWE?
