if hudlin is writing this, then i think the vs forum's storm threads are going to be no-go areas for the next while... 🙁

if a decent writer is doing it, surfer will be nice and just disable her or just swat her away or something...

No, McDuffie is the writer.

Storm may prove to be a threat to Surfer. We don't know what her potential is.

I think they may just trade blows, then come to a common ground against Epoch.

no. even suggesting that storm can even hang with surfer it all is just delusional, no other word for it. the only x-man who can even attempt to battle surfer and hold their own would be a phoenix powered jean... there are probably less than 20 people on marvel earth who could match surfer, and storm is nowhere near being on that list... she's been around for 30 odd years, and even with Claremont's constant shite she's still nowhere near as powerful as you claim her to be...

you want to say she can take magneto, then fine, people will indulge you and make a debate out of it... if you even try to suggest that she can take on the surfer, then you seriously need to have your keyboard taken away...
