I just love how really the entire time, the bulk of your posts, has been trying to proove that the other is breaking the rules 😆

Not really, it's been pointing out how goofy it is to say TS's mace is close to Thor's hammer and then goading him into getting himself DQ'd (which isn't really possible because the mace's displays are crap compared to the artifact it's being compared to). 😉

Oh and pointing out why Eric Masterson is a 25 year old virgin that fails at life and tried to bone a chick with a penis and more mojo then the entire KMC boards combined.

But let's look at the facts:

Instant Regeneration based on one character's power.
Artifact equal to Mjlonir.
Cancelling out of super speed and flight.
Instant ability to oneshot any character no matter what (fortunately Eric Masterson fails at life).

U DQ'D, B!

Umm . . . it looks to me as though both actually have broken the rules.

However thats for judges to decide.

Ouch . . .

But yeah this ones are the best so far. Well, except the MM vs TP one.

Actually, that's pretty much what I'd be doing too. Instant PIS adaptation and shutting down tech sounds an awful lot like stuff we banned outright earlier (Nimrod for adaptation, Spiral's shutting off powers, etc.)

I have no problem with the power mesh with the mace. Heck, I think it's an awesome tactic that doesn't break any rules. But the other stuff is suspect.

Agree. I don't think it really should be used in any way. 😬

The only problem I really have with the mace is that he's outright saying it's as potent as the wayyy above Iron Man level Mjlonir (though we know it is simply propaganda, still just saying, sounds like a blatant disregard of the rules to me).

So Zero's ability to adapt to and neutralize any threat is banned (as I originally suspected), right?

Also, am I reading Stacks prep correctly? It seems he flew around and manipulated the battlefield during prep which is also banned.

only thing I did was smash stuff to create shadows. if it's banned then I could just do it through the course of the battle :/

Yeah, I'm pretty sure manipulating the battlefield itself during prep is banned Stacks. It's all good though.

4. 10 minutes of prep time will be available before each match. You can do pretty much anything you want during prep as long as you don’t attack or spy on the other team.

Bleh maybe I read too much into you can do anything you want as long as you don't attack or spy on the other team line :/

Yeah, I see what you mean Stacks. I don't think Goob was as descriptive with that rule as he meant to be. "Do anything" could be interpreted in a manner that setting a trap on the battlefield, which isn't attacking your opponent directly or spying on your opponent, would be legal. I think the intent was that you have 10 minutes to do whatever you need to do to prepare for the fight away from the battlefield, like a boxer in the locker room warming up and doing his pre fight rituals, going over battleplans, etc. The boxer can't go to the ring and loosen up the turnbuckle and ropes so that if his opponent leans on them he'd fall over or manipulate the mat so he can have better footing.

We may need that clarified/voted on though.

Should manipulating the battlefield itself during prep be legal?

only problem i have with it is this: it sets up the field to be more advantageous to one than the other. 😬

if stacks broke everything, and lp had a matter manipulator to just . . . fix it, then the whole thing is a wash. but lp doesn't have a chance to do that, and what if some of lp's strategy was centered around USING the battlefield as it had been offered.

i'd say no to the battlefield manipulation.

Has anyone even seen Martian the last few days? 😕

I'm opposed also. I thought it was already spelled out in the rules that it was illegal (as it was in previous tournaments), but I didn't realize how extremely vague Goob was with the prep rule until Stacks pointed it out to me.

As it stands, it could be interpreted that you could just go onto the battlefield and set up nuclear proximity mines near your opponent's entrance to the battlefield and it would be legal.

My judge vote is no, it should be illegal. 👇

Co-signed.

No from me 👇

I always had prep in a neutral site for that reason, but it was clever on Stacks' part.

Yeah, it is a smart tactic on Stacks part. I'm an advocate of using the battlefield as a tactical advantage (most of my personal plans employ this). I just don't think anyone should be able to set the battlefield to their advantage prior to the battle in this tournament. It should be an equal, unmodified playing field.

Sorry to go off-topic. But this was ****ing hilarious. hysterical Mad props Digi.

Back on topic, I thought we were restricted to a small enclosed area of the battlefield for prep?
