Don't trip Goob, if the constitutions of sovereign nations need ammendments, I'm pretty sure comic book battle tournament rules will as well. There's no way to cover every probability in one go beforehand because people will always adapt and find a way to test the limits.
All we can do is roll with the punches and try to be fair.

Well, I think that's actually a simple fix.
Just like we have the "no offensive matter manipulation" rule and "no mind control" rule we could have the "no offensive technopathy" rule. This would apply to all technopaths in the tournament in the interest of fairness. No direct technopathy applied on your opponent, it can only be applied to yourself, technologoical elements of the battlefield, and mechanised independent weapons (redirecting/disabling incoming missiles, probes, etc).
And his adapting to and neutralizing all threats/weapons ability should be killed outright. It's a play on a semantics definition of Zero not being equal to Nimrod/Fury's ability when he essentially does the exact same thing. 👇

The fact that I'm the one facing Zero has nothing to do with this decision (actually the fact that I had to pick Psylocke over friggin Selene based on no neutering MIGHT have something to do with this decision).

Nah, the part that even after all that people still tried to pull the same thing and a couple got away with it, and the fact that a no neutering clause was instated initially and we've reneged on it numerous times now.
Zero doesn't adapt as in he doesn't create a blast that didn't exist before-hand. It's just, if you're weak against a blast of radiation, he will know that. If you DON'T have to weaknesses against a type of blast, then he won't be able to use that ability and you'll have nothing extra to fear against his blasts.
It's not that big of a deal, honestly. You should know better than believing all my hype about my character. Hell, I still say Shocktopus is a skyfather.
Saying Zero can nuetralize all "threats and weapons" is a flat lie. He can't.
He can take out tech with his tech controlling ability, and that's about it.
I mean, honestly. There is absolutely NO difference between Zero's weakness seeking ability and Karate Kid's weakness seeking ability. They both can see weakness and take advantage of them.
The two only REAL difference is KK's weakness finding ability does work on everyone and Zero's doesn't. KK uses fists to do it and Zero uses energy. KK can find a weakness in Superman and one shot him.
If you're all a bit weary of Zero's ability to see and make specifc blasts that affect a weakspot, then you can ban that ability.....only if you ban KK's ability to do the same exact thing. Otherwise it's not exactly fair at all.
You're trying to play the semantics game again LP. That's what got us in this position in the first place. You're misrepresenting Zero's abilities. There's no parallel between what Karate Kid does and what Zero does.
Karate Kid has the ability to sense weaknesses in the structural integrity of an object, meaning he could tell if a steel wall wasn't made properly, tell when an opponent's center of gravity was off base or if they had a bad leg/bad stance, see imperfections in stones and manufactured stuctures, etc. He doesn't look at Superman and go "Hmm, I sense he's weak to red sunlight and kryptonite radiation, let me do my triple flip flying kryptonite slippy fist maneuver and kill him".
Zero, on the other hand, is programmed to neutralize anything perceived as a threat, be it a weapon or a superhuman, and has the technology to create the weapons necessary to neutralize said threat. He's basically a watered down Nimrod. He would look at Superman and say "Scanners detect this being is weak to kryptonite and red sun radiation, fabricating a red sun and kryptonite emitter to terminate target". He did as much in the scan that was provided before. He would have killed Deadpool also if Wade hadn't displayed that his powers also had passive traits.

Then Monday comes and if we are doing it Ill's way how long will it take to get the bracket's up and going.
It will be an all week thing for the Judges to decide
Or will it be a day to decide and they go up on Tuesday.
Because honestly I need at least day of prior knowledge of my opponent and the battlefield location to get a write up in.

It's allowing a character who's over the caps continue anyway. If you were just going to turn off powers you should have allowed other picks to be made as well.
Everyone was making all this noise about zero tolerance, not taking any guff, and instantly DQ'ing any sheisty business, but then when someone sneaks a character over the caps these same people frail up and just say oh let's just let him continue anyway. Foul.
Doesn't really matter anyway as any bit of leverage Long Pig had in the match was just banned so go me 😄
